Great service, great food. Their beer selection is great. I always get the flight so i can try a lot of beers at once. Their sweet potato fries are amazing. The best I have ever had. They come with a bunch of dipping sauces. Their southwestern salad is good--not great. They do have great burgers though.

IHB Newark has been my go-to place since it opened in '96. Always consistently good food and outstanding beer. Considering the glut of restaurants and bars on Main St., Iron Hill has the best overall experience. They always respond to customers' suggestions, and have gotten better over the years. Even compared to the other IHB's (of which I've been to... More

My family and I stopped here for lunch while traveling home from the holidays. We were pleasantly surprised by the cool ambiance. The beer was very good and the menu very creative. Our biggest delight was the creative kids menu. My son loves shrimp so he was excited about the grilled shrimp. The icecream at the end of his meal... More

We met another family for lunch over the holidays. This certainly wasn't our first visit to Iron Hill and we'll be back again. Friendly staff and updated pub and American food make this a safe bet for lunch or dinner. There are some unique pizza combinations and the house-made pulled pork should not be missed. The specials are nearly a... More

Walk down Main Street in the University of Delaware town of Newark and you will be totally flbergasted at where to eat. There's so many, many restaurants serving so many types of foods. Since it was raining and cold we chose the closest to our car park and it turned out to be this very, nice eatery. The atmosphere was... More

Can't get much better fresh brewed beer! Pig Iron stout is their best! Kalahari is always fresh, never over cooked. Friendly and helpful wait staff.

Each Iron Hill is unique with some of the brews they offer, but each is consistent in quality of food and beer. Great place for families as well as going for a drink after work.

I ate here on a Tuesday night during a business trip. The food was good - what you would expect. Servers were friendly, but the service itself was much slower than expected for a pretty simple menu.

A reliable place to eat - part of a chain. Big selection of beers. Good appetizers & burgers. Good service.
