In all fairness, it wasn't our original destination. Our first choice was closed because of renovations so we went to Home Grown in downtown Newark DE. We knew immediately we were in the wrong place because it's clearly a place for youngsters, and two over-70 folks like us stuck out like sore thumbs. Still, we were hungry and sat down.... More

We have eaten at this place multiple times to include events like birthdays, friends from out of town and just the 2 of us. We also have submitted great feedback for this place 2 times in the past year, but until this last visit on Saturday night, we really liked the place. Maybe due to UofD being out on summer... More

With the new management has come a new menu. Some of the old favorites are there, but the style of how you order has changed. Instead of the old listings of entrees and appetizers, there are now categories where you pick your flavor and then pick your protein. There is also a daily menu option, with an appetizer, entree, desert,... More

Wow , what a meal, perfect Mahi and a totally new flavor for me Jalopena Grits loved it with the Mahi . The above was suggested by Joanne, our waitress and what a job she did, darn near perfect, fast, considerate, with a great knowledge of the menu and the town of Newark, Delaware. I was there with my 2... More

On the weekends I walk by this place on my way to work. It always smells so good & there is usually a crowd of people going in for brunch. You can't help but smell the food & get a peek at the food with the outside dining patio right on the sidewalk! So, naturally, I have been dying to... More

I love the food selection! They have very earthy options and I believe many of their ingredients are locally sourced. I also love the fact that they have vegan and vegetarian options. I love the grilled cheese sandwich, the nachos, and the thai wrap. The ice cream is also delicious! give this place a try if you are in the... More

I went here with work for lunch and I was worried I was not going to be able to find something I would like. I was pleasantly surprised with all the items they offer. I decided on the California Cobb salad with chicken. It was the best salad I have ever had, it had just the right amount of spice... More

Visited on a Saturday afternoon while visiting University of Delaware. We were short on time and we were told there was a 40 minute wait; however, looking around the restaurant there was were 2 tables empty. I decided to order a falafel sandwich for take-out. I paid for my sandwich upon ordering. We sat there waiting for my sandwich for... More

Located on Main Street in the heart of the University of Delaware campus, this is a nice spot for lunch or dinner. Plenty of vegetarian choices, but in my opinion the terrific salads are the best option. Also, the crab fondue is delicious and not to be missed! Everything was tasty and reasonably priced. Plenty of nice draft beer choices... More
