Soup too strong, funny smell.

Had lamb gyro for lunch, very good with fresh ingredients. Also had Mediterranean soup per waiters suggestion, interesting but broth was way to strong. Also, odd stale beer smell like bar needs freshened up. Thought perhaps toilet overflowed, rest room needs freshened and re-done too. Overall... read more

Also, odd stale beer smell like bar needs freshened up. Thought perhaps toilet overflowed, rest room needs freshened and re-done too. Overall service was good, but a few minor grumbles. Will likely end up there again.

Fantastic Place. This is not purely vegan restaurant but almost everything on the menu can be ordered vegan. There is an abundance of choice from Mexican, Asian, American, BBQ, to steak. I haven't tried it yet, but they have a combination meal where you can add your own meat or tofu to a variety of different dishes. I purchased the... More

The menu is definitely geared toward vegetarians. I got the grilled cheese sandwich for lunch, which happened to be about the only thing on the menu I would have eaten in my budget.

Fresh and delicious food, cozy atmosphere and friendly service, this is the in-place on groovy Main Street. Give it a chance. I especially liked the coconut curry soup which apparently (at least in the summer) was taken off of the menu. I plan to re-visit very soon this fall as I am sure I will be pleased with what the... Because of a serious health challenge, I embraced a mainly raw vegan lifestyle. It is intense and Home Grown is one of the few restaurants I feel good about. It is great to occasionally be able to go out and not feel that you have fallen off the wagon too much! It has organic greens in many of the salads... More

I've eaten here many times, it delivers quality and service on a consistent basis. Their salads are unique and flavorful. You can select the protein you want for any of the salad combos.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant because he is vegan. It is a comfortable but not a fancy place. It is on the UD campus. It is a bit pricey but not really overpriced considering the varied fare. We each had a bowl of the vegan Thai soup that was very nicely flavored and not too spicey to... More

The name Home Grown would lead one to think that perhaps there is something different here than the formula restaurants, brew pubs and local diners - and you would be correct. They at least make an effort to serve a variety of foods that would appeal to the vegetarian crowd as well as the non-vegetarians (also known as carnivores). Overall,... More
