Business lunch

My boss took me here for lunch which was my first visit to the restaurant. We shared the carrot salad, the roasted eggplant and chicken samosa's - WOW! Unbelievably great food and really nice service as well - will definitely return and bring my wife for a great dinner.

We were seated and waited 20 minutes to even order a drink. Wait staff was rude and hurried. Food was unique, and the lamb was great. Asked waiter for check and 30 minutes later I finally got it. No rush to go back.

This place is the heart of Newark, DE in the vicinity of the University of Delaware. It has a lot of nice Mediterranean items in addition to some international cuisine items. The food is delicious and the environment is wonderful. It has a smoking area. I have visited it like a couple of times on 2013 & 2014

I love his place. Been here countless times. Used to come just for the hookah but the very reasonable bottles of beer and very tasty hummus are great too. Full meals are also tasty and quite affordable. Don't be put off by the college kids puffing away out front, this place has really good food, for anything from a light... More

Had a great meal here with a few friends last night! Ordered the vegetarian platter, a kebab dish and their amazing dajaj mashwy (chicken with hummus and tabouli). The chicken was fall off the bone and the skin was seasoned and crisp to perfection. Portions are fairly big and the prices are right. They also have any kind of beer... More

I ordered several different items on the menu so I could taste a variety of offerings. The Good: The food came out hot and most stuff was relatively fresh. I loved some of the complex flavors some of the dishes had. The Bad: The service was absolutely terrible. I felt like we didn't exist the whole time we were there.... More

Both appetizers and main courses excellent. Freshly made food with nice modestly priced wines. Hooka bar too.

After a very long day of traveling, we found this gem only 10 minutes from our hotel. We ate in the lounge area which has low tables with soft chairs and sofa-like seats. Being vegetarians, it is always a challenge to find good food when we travel. This was just the ticket! We had lentil soup, spanikopita and the vegetarian... More

I've only done takeout from Ali Baba and I've never been let down. I normally go with the kebab or something like that and it's always good stuff.

My wife and I went for dinner last week. Was first time visit. I have had this type of food before but my wife hasn't. Cool little place right on main street. We wanted to eat a bit early and arrived about 5pm on a Saturday and were seated quickly. Service was good and explained menu options. We ordered he... More
