Interesting beer, good food, decent service

We stopped in to try the craft beers and have some food. We were acknowledged and seated promptly by an employee. It's a pretty cool place, very laid back. We ordered the beer sampler and all were quite interesting. I did not care for any of them very much but they were in no way boring... read more

came here on a Saturday night for a beer. Absolutely awful service, sat for 20 minutes at the bar before i could get a beer! The bartenders all cluttered on one side of the bar. Never again don't waste your time.

We really liked this place. The pizza is some of the best in the area, they have great local beer, and a nice staff. Last couple of visits have been downright bad. Pizza has been burnt. Service was poor - everyone is just wearing street clothes, no uniforms of any kind, side dish came out as an app and app... More

Last Friday night my wife and I went to Argilla's. It has only been open for about one year. We waited patiently at the bar for our bartender to tell two customers all about how she was recently engaged. After about 10 minutes, no kidding, a male bartender from the other end of the bar gave us menus and said... More

At long last I have found my pizza and beer heaven. You can find good pizza many places in Delaware but they do not feature beer. There are now many craft brewers in Delaware too. This is the jackpot, great pizza and great beer. Looks can be deceiving, very pedestrian looking place with outstanding pizza and beer.

Recommended to me by locals at the hotel where I was staying, I was truly not disappointed. Appropriate for families of all ages. While the local beers were not really up to snuff in my humble opinion, the food was excellent, served fast & hot, and a very good value for the money. The music playing overhead perfect choices and... More

We go to Argilla about once a week. They brew their own great beers here and the food is really good too. Very affordable and a great spot to grab a beer and food. Sit at the bar (although there are plenty of tables for families) the bar staff is great and always fun to chat with.

I used to love going to this place. The pizza is good although sometimes it is burnt. The speciality pizza is wonderful. Unfortunately, they just switched to using peanut oil so I will no longer be able to go to the resultant.

Pizza was pretty good, but the beer tasted like it was filtered through a dirty gym sock. Better than the last time I was there. The double dry hopped IPA was the only drinkable one there with hints of Hydrogen Sulfide. Yum. So marginal that the band didn't drink the free ones they were given! Could be a much better... More

Outstanding Pizza, Great craft beer brewing and adequate service. The food makes up for any flaw. We had the Traditional Margherita Pizza that was very very good. The pies are New York style without the incinerated style of Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. We also tried my favorite (so far) Italian Grinder Pie [Genoa Salami, Capicola & Peppered Ham]. Lots of...
