Description: Our property boasts a comfort zone with a unique, casual dining experience, appropriate for all ages, but most importantly, simply delicious mac and cheese. Matildas & Mad Macs will be offering a mouthwatering selection of creamy and browned to perfection mac and cheese. The mac is on center stage, but not to be missed is the decadent hand-formed burgers, plump juicy wings and the homemade soups. Menu highlights include the pizza mac, with fresh mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, roasted garlic, and fresh basil… Yum! The lobster mac, with tender chunks of fresh lobster, cognac, tarragon and mascarpone cheese… Ridiculous! The portobello mac, with roasted portobello, goat cheese, mozzarella and a touch of truffle oil… Yes this really happens... The signature burger, hand formed, fire grilled, and on a baked fresh bun. Side selections include generous portions of seasoned fries paired with our white cheddar cheese sauce. Perfection…. For desserts, how about a red-velvet cake with cream cheese frosting; and for adults, may we suggest a drunken milkshake. Sorry kids 21 and older only.Togo is Unique at Matildas & Mad Macs. Ready to-go hot or cold mad-macs is the perfect way to fill your belly at your home or office. Microwavable and environmentally safe prepared dishes heat in seconds and are fun for the whole family. Don’t order pizza, order pizza mac!!! Available in regular, wheat and whole grain macaroni.Once you're properly fueled with some of our signature dishes, there's plenty of entertainment to keep the fun going, from karaoke on Mondays and Saturdays, to Texas hold'em poker on Wednesdays and trivia on Thursdays. We also provide live entertainment every Friday night! Let the fun begin…

Pulled into this place because it was first stop off highway, but will definitely come in again if I'm in the area. Personal skillets with yummy mac&cheese... We had the meatball marinara and the chil Mac. Half price Mondays made this meal fun, delicious, and super affordable!

My wife and I just had dinner at Matilda's & Mad Macs. This is a Sports Bar and restaurant and the dining room only had a few people in it because most were watching football at the bar. One of their specialties is Macaroni and cheese. They have a lot of varieties and my guess is that they all taste... More

Australian food on Delaware? Who would've thought ?! I had a good experience there . Double dated service was good no issues with that, food was delicious I got a kangaroo burger which turned out to be pretty good to my surprise. The drinks were also delicious . Would definitely go again

I consider myself an expert on wings, I eat quite a lot of them! If you are ever in Newark Delaware and have the hankering for wings stop in Matilda/mad macs and order up some with secret sauce. The staff there are awesome and you will certainly have a good time!

Quite a place with interesting clients and bartenders. I think I need to be a bit more "inked up" to fit in.

We went for lunch. The bar was pretty busy, we sat at a table. The service was slow but friendly. It appeared that only 2 girls were working, both of which were wearing "stripper" clothing. While we were looking over our menu our waitress was busy taking shots with the guys at the table next to us. The food was... More

Looked for somewhere close to hotel for a solo dinner. Found Matilda's on Yelp, which fit the bill. Live music, craft beer (try the flight of 4 short pours), and the best gourmet mac-n-cheese (I had the Chef's sampler.). Many other menu items. Lively bar that gets loud, but I didn't mind. If you want quiet, sit on the dining... More

It will be a long time before I return to Matilda's to eat. It was my first visit and probably my last. We went early, so they were not crowded. We were seated right away and the server took our drink orders. When she returned with the drinks, she took our dinner orders. We had our 22 month old grandsons... More

Not many beers on tap. We went during happy hour where burgers were half off so it was a great price. Burgers looked small but had a ton of meat and was filling. Either than that not many people early in the day but the burgers took a long time to come out

Okay sports bar type place. Gluen free mac & cheese was prety tasty. A pork BBQ sandwich was kinda small, and the fries were cold. The BBQ was smoky and decent. Lots of variety on the menu, and that may explain the diverse reviews. Service was slow early on a Saturday afternoon with almost no one in the place. Lots... More
