Went here with a group for my sister in law's birthday. The server was very nice but the quality of food was marginal at best.
My family stopped here for dinner the night before dropping our daughter for her freshman year at UDel. We wanted a fun and vibrant atmosphere and that's what we got! There was a great band playing, lots of families, and a mixed crowd of old and young. We were told our wait would be 20 min or so (it was... More
This is a fun place to have some drinks, you are not going to have the meal of a lifetime, it's a college bar. Veggie burger was just ok, pear salad was good, turkey panini was tasty. Service was fine, outside seating is fun on a nice day. I'd go back.
Monday nights this restauant features all you can eat wings! Great wings and wonderful service. They also have an outside dining area to people watch near the University of Delaware.
we were visiting U Del and were told Klondike Kate's was great. The food, indeed, was good (although my salmon had to be returned because it was RAW) and it took FOREVER to find the waitress. Service was fair..fast turnover seemed the fare. Food was very good. Would probably try again. We sat outside....very lively scene for the summer without... More
This place is horrible. Not only is the food disgusting, the staff don't even allow you to try and enjoy the experience. The hostess looked miserable and have no idea how to smile or be the face of the restaurant. The waiter was rushing us the entire time and actually took one persons plate while they were eating from it.He... More
Food: burgers arrive well done no matter your request for less cooking. Service: As a single female diner I enjoy being seated next to the restrooms.
Great food really cheap beer was really cold and on top of it all when we pulled outta the Newark parking lot it was free I'll definitely be back
Waiter was MIA most of the time, never brought ketchup, extra napkins... food was cold... this was the most awful I have encountered there. Get your staff up to par instead of standing around chatting... sad when you have to get your own utensils and napkins. Someone needs to be watching the deck at all times.
My daughter and I spent a "day after Mother's Day" lunch at Klondike Kate's. We arrived right smack in the middle of lunch hour and stll managed to have a patio table overlooking or "on" main street. I must say, our lunch date couldn't have have gone any better. My daughter and I ordered the Spring Rolls as an appitizer... More
