relaxing/great atmosphere

stopped without reservations and they squeezed us in minus an attitude that you sometimes receive when you do not have reservation. Very relaxing and authentic atmosphere.

The British Bell tea room has always been one of my favorite place to visit, The change in ownership has been a positive improvement for the British Bell. The staff and Management is friendlier and more outgoing and the food is out of this world, especially the freshly made dessert. The portions may at first glance appear small, but you... More

I love going to this tea room. Your served on real china like your Grandmother had. You are seated at a dinning room size table with your party. You choose a flavor of tea then each person receives an individual pot of the tea they selected. The teas are delicious. Along with my tea, I had a variety of tea... More

I don't like sugar and refined carbs so my one time to eat there was a major disaster. You cannot eat healthy here. The decor was really Victorian and I loved it

Went for High Tea with three friends on a Saturday afternoon. For high tea you get an entire pot of tea of your choice (40+ options), 3 tea sandwiches (6 or 8 options), a scone (2 or 3 options), a turkey sausage and something else pastry pocket and 3 desserts each. We had a crème filled pastry cup with chocolate,... More

This was my first time at a tea house so I didn't know what to expect. The room is decorated very nicely but it's cramped and loud. They do have a private room but I'm not sure how much that costs. The tea was AMAZING and the sandwichs were good (the Turkey cranberry was my favorite by far). I read... More

I wrote a review for the British Bell Tea Room previously but this was my first visit since the change in ownership. We had always enjoyed visiting this restaurant as it was a nice change of pace from the usual restaurants. On our arrival we weren't sure what we would find but our fears were quickly put aside as the... More

I love this place and have eaten here numerous times. I wrote a review already and still feel the food is good, service excellent, and atmosphere is fun, but I really think the scones are awful ! They were never great, but have really gone down hill in recent years. I was there a few weeks ago with two friends... More

This was a greast place to be introcduced to the Tea House concept and service of tea. The lunch was very tasty and the atomosphere was enjoyable. May choices and also products to purchase.
