We ate here for dinner. Easy to please party of 8, try something on smaller scale like for an appetizer and if you desired more of it , you could order larger portion and share with your party. Quality of food was good as was the ambience.

A return visit was not a pleasantly experience. Paella is one of their specialties but ours was overcooked. Clams and mussels were dry and tasteless. Ordered pitcher of sangria that was tasteless. Not sure when or if I'll return.

We went for the first time Saturday night - 9 people. Reservation was ready when we arrived but from then on it was totally bad to say the least. Our server Kyle could care less. I guess when you add an automated tip of 20% the who cares attitude must have kicked in. What an embarrassing evening as we invited... More

First, compliments must go to our personable and excellent food server, Kyle. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, despite having worked there for such a short period of time! He even told us how Tapas came to be, which we found very interesting. He definitely added to our fun dining experience. Don't let the strip mall location turn you... More

We wanted good appetizers for a light dinner and we got good food. We were pleasantly surprised by the tastiness of the Tapas an Ole Tapas. Timing of Tapas plates could have been better coordinated, one arrived 20 minutes after the first set. Bread pudding was great. Mussels were very nice as were anchovies.

This is a fun place to go with friends that can share platters. Food was very good. We kept ordering based on our waiters recommendations and were pleased. Time just flew by between courses. The small bites add up during the evening. Plan on spending time here, so go with fun people. I loved the Spanish style gazpacho and the... More

This place has it all. Not a bad plate in the house. The only authentic tapas in the Newark/Wilmington area. Great happy hour specials at the bar with the best bartender (Scott) in the tri state area. Flamenco guitar player once a month adds to the complete experience. The whole roasted pig is out of this world. You will not... More

Have talked about visiting Ole Tapas several times over the past few years but just never made it. Finally bought a Groupon which gave us a little incentive to make the trip (a little out of our way). It was well worth it! We sat at the bar which was a good decision. Scott, the bartender, was great, describing some... More

I have tried the tapas, the paella, AND for a special occasion, the whole roasted pig! I think it's safe to say that I've tried all varieties, and about 40% of the things on the menu. The tapas are good for a casual meal, where you get to taste lots of different plates. They had the ceviche festival recently and... More

First time at Ole Tapas. Waiter was great, offered some suggestions, which we took and everything was delicious. We ordered a spicy margarita and sangria. The margarita was like nothing I have ever tasted..and I have tasted plenty!! We order four tapas and were comfortably full. So much flavor and diversity. On Saturday nights they have live entertainment-Flamenco dancing or... More
