I frequently visit Nora Lee's with other couples and with my friends and have never been disappointed by the food. They have an awesome drink menu and a fun atmosphere. You need to make a reservation for dinner as the wait is usually long without one. It's a quaint Cajun/ Mardi Gras theme (not a kid friendly restaurant). The service... More

I love the atmosphere and the crawfish bisque is delicious! We stop in a lot for lunch. The food has a Cajun spice and the staff is nice. Service is not that great to dine in, but sitting at the bar is good.

My wife and I stopped by for a first visit on a chilly Friday for a sweet treat. We told the waitress we wanted a hot tea and she said she had just brewed a pot. My wife left for the ladies room(VERY NICE) and while gone, the waitress brought two iced teas.... I was so thirsty i drank mine and... More

cajun/creole style food. the warm crab dip was very good. the cajun chicken poboy had too much sauce for my taste, and was a little salty. my friend got the buffalo chicken poboy that she liked, but i thought it was very vinegary. the home made potatoe chips were good. price wasnt too bad. $28 for 2, no drinks tho

I have eaten dinner at Nora Lee's several times and the word is "inconsistent". It is a very small place with a bar and restaurant. The service is overpowering when it's not busy and very sketchy when it's full. Reservations recommended. Crab cakes are good, soup too spicy, jumbalya is mushy and overcooked. Bread is delicious. Three waitresses took turns... More

While I've enjoyed the dinners I have had at Nora Lee's, especially the crab stuffed mushrooms, my wife thinks white bread is too spicy, so I don't often get to do dinner there with her. But I so sometimes make a beeline there for lunch, where I get their barbecues fresh tuna sandwich. It's a nice piece of grilled tuna... More

Each time I have eaten at Nora Lee's, the food and service have been worse, and after four times, I have given up, and will never eat there again. The food is overpriced, flavored with far too much sugar, and bears little resemblance other than names to real New Orleans cuisine — which would cost less for far better quality.

My husband and I went on a Saturday night without making any reservations. When we got there, we heard a couple in front of us say that it was going to be over an hour wait. It was packed and most were probably first-timers using their Groupon, like us. After several people left, we were the only ones waiting and... More

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and ordered blackened tilapia and coconut shrimp. Tilapia was a bit TOO blackened (still tasty), garlic mashers were tasty, coconut shrimp had too much breading but were okay (average). Service was okay, not bad or great either. The place has a fun atmosphere and good drink and beer specials and we will check it... More

Any wildly enthusiastic reviews about this restaurant must be coming from it's owners. Nice music, bad service, bad food, bad experience.
