Always stop here on way to/from DC from CT...I love the open crab cake sandwich/melt...menu is huge and prices are diner-great...always get food quickly from friendly waitstaff.

Confusing menus in both price and what comes with a meal. Questionable food quality, and high prices turned me against this once quality restaurant. Sadly another good place to eat has bitten the dust.

I have eaten here several times. I am part of a group that meets every month for breakfast. The food is average and our service is good because we have the same waitress all the time. If you want a good, basic breakfast, this is a good place to go. No complaints about the food, I like it and always... More

portions are generous, the waitresses are very attentive. Food is just what you would expect from a diner...with the exception of the cheese dinner rolls...those things are AMAZING. House made cakes and desserts are outstanding, as well. Only issue, late night pricing goes into effect with no warning until you order something that is no longer offered.

Stopped for a late breakfast/early lunch. Food was good, service efficient and staff pleasant. I enjoyed the triple cheeseburger: to be clear, that was a single (tasty) patty with three different cheeses, not three patties. The only reason I might not order it next time is that the menu was very extensive and I will probably want to sample something... More

Route 13 south of the Delaware Memorial bridge is a desert for hungry people. It used to be traveling in the South you could rely on Howard Johnson's, but they are dead. We found The Golden Dove Diner (warning, Golden is in very fine print, and I though the name of the place was The Dove Diner) on a trip... More

If you happen to be traveling south having just come over the Delaware Memorial Bridge, you will find not a lot of places to grab a bite, especially if you are traveling on DE route 1. Take the New Castle exit and drive down the DuPont Hwy to see a lot of places to grab a bite. We did last... More

Stopped here on a rainy Saturday night on our way to Jersey. The waitress was nice but couldn't give much direction on what to order. Our dinners came with soup or salad & cheese bread. The bread with a sweet cream cheese filling was the best part of the meal. If you stop here stick to breakfast or a BLT.

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat after being on the road for hours. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. The buffalo sauce was unlike any color I have seen for buffalo sauce. Then, when I decided it just did not taste good, I came across a long hair in my chicken. I came pretty close to puking.... More
