I liked the location, which is in the middle of Delaware and is a great mid-point stop for travelers to Delaware's (and Maryland's) beaches. I liked the food which is the freshest seafood I have found-and which can be purchased on site. And I liked the food preparation in the restaurant which was always delicious.

Second time we have tried this restaurant. Expensive food with no taste. Oyster stew had 3 oysters in it. Stuffed Baked Flounder has a runny sauce poured over it which looked like it came out of a box (suppose to be imperial sauce which is thick). Green beans were loaded with coarse black pepper.

We were driving from Delaware to Cape May, New Jersey and looking for a place for a nice seafood lunch. This place fit the bill perfectly. I had the Shrimp Po Boy and my husband had fish and chips. Food was nicely cooked and not greasy. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Food was quite good & the atmosphere friendly, tho' just moderate in appearance. The booth in which we were seated was fairly tight and my husband a bit squished in... and he's not fat! Prices were a little high, but not outrageous.

My Husband and I had dinner at Meding's last weekend. This restaurant was recommended to us by Emma from Days Inn in Milford, DE. Unfortunately, there was nothing memorable about our dinner. Restaurant was crowded, yet tables on the other side of the room were closed. Sat us at a table with very uncomfortable chairs. Waited a while to have... More

I've passed this restaurant many times and finally found myself in the area at dinner time. The crab soup was absolutely full of crab, and the crab imperial was just delicious. I like that they have Kendall Jackson chardonnay. The service could have been faster, but the place was busy and the staff were all very pleasant. Even though I... More

Just on a whim, my husband and I decided to stop here on a return trip from Dover. We have had meals here before, and they were pretty good. Well, not today! My husband ordered 6 x-large crabs with a side order of fried oysters (6) says the waitress. I wanted the shrimp and scallop linguine (been wanting this dish... More

We have a place near Lewes nearby and make this our lunch stop for the best Seafood around. They have live music if you sit outside on the weekends, very nice touch. You can't miss the GIANT Propeller in the front, as a Landmark to turn in & get out of Traffic. The shrimp and scallops are terrific on the... More

The quality seems to be declining. On my last visit the Oyster Stew was not good at all. It tasted like warm milk with butter.

No sure why, but my last couple of visits were a let down. The service is good & the place is clean, but the food is just not up to par. Either greasy or dry. Just not as good as it used to be. Maybe I was just in on off nights. Not sure I will try again, not worth... More
