My wife and daughter and I stopped by on a Friday night. We got there a little before dinner started at 5pm, so we had drinks and appetizers. The nachos were very good. The ahi tuna app. was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I can't say enough good things about it. My wife had a seafood/pasta dinner... More

Everything was fine. We were there mid-week with few other diners. Nothing stands out as "best-ever," but this is still a place I'd return to for another meal.

Recently had lunch with an old friend at the bar. Service was friendly and relaxed but efficient. I tried some blackened fish that was very tasty. Usually I have the lobster roll sandwich, which is legendary. My first time eating at the bar, and it was comfortable with the high ceiling and not noisy at noon. A great beach experience.... More

We stopped in for a quick bite on our way back up from Rehoboth Beach DE. The service was excellent and the for was great. At the end of town but worth the walk after you've seen the shops.

We went to Striper Bites last week and enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. The decor has a New England feel, with clapboard outside and a warm but modern interior. Each section is small but that keeps it from having the cavernous feeling of a typical restaurant. It almost feels like a beach house that's been converted, with a... More

The atmosphere and food was so good. Definitely try the Nor'easter or the Blackened Tuna Pasta. While visiting the bar make sure you sample the Pinnacle Whipped Crush as well!

Our first visit ever to Lewes, DE. Charming little village. We couldn't get in to Striper Bites on Friday night - long wait - so we tried again on Saturday night. Enjoyed the tuna-on-wonton appetizer - sooo yummy! The Amaretto Chicken was great; my husband really enjoyed the seafood pasta dish. The atmosphere there is so up-beat and friendly. The... More

Our recent meal was good, but the service was incredibly slow: 1) 25 minutes for drinks, 2) at 1 hour we received our starter; and 3) our main course arrived approximately 30 minutes after that. Many tables were empty and yet we were told that the kitchen was backed up. Be prepared to wait.....

Went their for dinner with the kids, one evening while on vacation. About a 45 minute wait on a July Wednesday night but killed time walking around Lewes. I had the Striper Bites Club which was by far the best Mahi Mahi sandwich ever. Kids had an order of mussels and chicken fingers and ate it all. This would make... More

We stayed in Lewes this past week for vacation with family. We ate at Striper Bites twice and each time the food was great. The seafood is fresh and prepared wonderfully. I asked if I could substitute a salad for the fries with one of my meals and there wasn't an upcharge like at some restaurants. Everyone at our table... More
