We really enjoyed this place and had amazing service and a great beef Carpaccio and crab cakes. They also have a solid wine list.

I've just returned from a trip to Lewes, DE. It's a lovely quaint beach town and this restaurant was terrific. Great service, excellent wine list, good cocktails. We sat on the porch in what was once a Victorian home-very special. I had the halibut and it was out of this world. My friend had the crab cakes. I don't know... More

My partner and I are from the Harrisburg, PA area. We have nice restaurants in Central Pennsylvania but not like this. Not only is the Buttery situated in a quaint Victorian home, it is also located in one of the most charming seaside towns we have visited. Chef Aaron (I believe that is his name) has the magic touch. I... More

We had dinner last nite at the buttery…..Great service and location….Food--without exaggeration some of the worst I have ever eaten. The crab cake was so fishy--I smelled it sitting across the table from my wife….The pork chop--so tough it could not be cut but had to be sawed…The blue cheese salad--great but no blue cheese…Without exception…every meal my table of... My husband and I have been coming to the Buttery for about 20 years and it is still such a culinary delight every time we visit. If you dine between 5-7 pm you have the option to purchase their Pre- Fixe. The pre fixe costs $33.00 and includes salad or soup, entree, and dessert. In most restaurants a bargain is... More

My spouse and I ate at the Buttery. I am not a big one to write reviews and I am not the most articulate. Suffice it to say, the bottom line is fantastic!!!! This time I just had to write. Try it. You will love it.
