Want to start off by stating that I grew up in a full-scale, little italy in hiding Italian neighbor hood in queens. It was full of great little restaurants and salumaria's where you could buy the most authentic imported and domestic italian food and supplies. A Touch Of Italy meets those very same standards without even trying. When you walk... More

We stopped by for take out on two different evenings. We were promptly greeted by friendly, flirty fellows behind the counter. If you are unsure which variety of cheese is right for you, no worries, they’ll give you a sample. We loved each and everything we bought. From cookies, cannoli, eggplant rollatini, bread, cheese or prosciuitto, it was all wonderful.... More

Went to the Touch of Italy to see what it was. I was expecting an Italian restaurant. Opened the door and found a cheese shoppe look. The smell when you opened the door was wonderful. There was a refrigerator where you could pick up prepared packaged food to heat at home. There was a small area to eat in. They... More

I stumbled on this place, it smelled great. I entered and it was packed. There is a small dining area, the place was loud and packed, but the classical music is soothing. Upon entering there is a large deli counter with everything Italian, cheese, meat, bakery. In the back there is a cooler with frozen meals to go and I... More

This is truly "little Italy" in one beautiful town. The food is authentic and the wines are delicious - lunch is fabulous.

The deli sandwiches are well worth it. But they are huge, big enough for two. And sadly, they don't make halves. And while the meats are very good and served generously -- very generously -- and the mozzarella is fresh and made on the premises, the bread could be better. It's doughy and thick.

Finally found a place in Rehoboth to get a real Italian sandwich. The Pizza joints on Rehoboth Ave have nothing on Touch of Italy. Real men, real food, and tight quarters are hallmarks of a real deli and Italian specialty shop and Touch of Italy has it all. The meats are sliced see-thru thin, placed just right to allow for... We live in the area and are always looking for a good sandwich. Tried Touch of Italy recently and have now been back several times. We are working our way through trying ALL of the sandwiches. So delicious. May seem pricey for a sandwich, but they are more than generous enough to share. The semolina bread is exquisite - crunchy... More

The service in this delicatessen/restaurant is a bit scattered. There appeared to be significant confusion by the deli counter staff on how to handle walk-ins, telephone orders, and pre-paid orders. In one case a customer ordered a specific amount of cheese and the deli server cut 30% more than the customer requested and acted as if it didn't matter (it... More
