When my 13 year old son tried their pizza, he said "mom, this is the best pizza I've ever had!" We have tried pasta dishes, soups, pizza, wines and deserts and have never been disappointed. We have gone to the Lewes Location and the larger location on the highway. The Lewes location is quite small and gets crowded very quickly.... More

I have tried to have a good experience at Touch of Italy but continue to be let down. From the anti pasta, to the pizza, to their sandwiches; each experience was disappointing. The anti pasta – small and not worth the price. Our pizza was burnt, one of the sandwiches had such thick bread with very little lunch meat, one... More

Lewes Touch of Italy was highly recommended by friends, so after walking around Lewes on Saturday, we decided to stop in. First of all, the hostess was attentive and helpful as soon as we entered. We weren't sure if we were going to get a to-go order or dine in. We were glad we stayed to enjoy the atmosphere. My... More

I have been to Italy and I felt like I had stepped back when I was in the Touch of Italy.. Hams hanging from the ceiling. Pastries to die for in the display. My Chicken Parm was over the top wonderful.. I love this place this will be a always go to place in Lewes.. Love it. The waitress was... More

Great option to chose in Lewes Delaware. Classic old school Italian dishes. Wood fired oven pizzas. I would not hesitate to return.

This is one of the most authentic Italian eateries I have been in outside the New York metropolitan area. The pastries are amazing, especially the cream puffs, the ravioli was made even better by the homemade sauce, and the cheese selection is spectacular. Don't miss the homemade mozzerella. Great wine selection as well. The restaurant is small but welcoming and... More

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I tried the Lewes Touchof Italy for dinner. He had a martini and I a glass of wine. We both ordered the chicken piccata. Usually this dish is made with thin slices of chicken breast, capers and a wine sauce. This dish came with the chicken cut up in cubes. When I... More

A busy and casual combination restaurant, pasticceria (pastry/cookie/bread shop), salumeria (cured meats, olives, aged cheeses, prepared food selections, and corner grocery (boxed pastas, olive oil, canned tomatoes, etc., this is an Italian feast under one roof! The eatery is small but has good table service and a nice menu with good choices. Mamma's meatballs are worth their specialty status, made... More

The sandwiches are killer. Fresh bread, meats, homemade mozzerella! They have it all! The pizza is outstanding as well as the cannoli!

Yup....the real thing! We ordered four different sandwiches for takeout and broccoli rabe salad as a side. The sandwiches were awesome. Eggplant parmigiana, porketta, eggplant and artichoke, and proscuitto with fontina and anchovies, all on very authentic italian bread. The salad was a bit heavy on the garlic would be the only criticism. The moment you walk in the door... More
