Description: Touch of Italy was born out of two Italian family traditions that trace...
Touch of Italy was born out of two Italian family traditions that trace back to the late 1800's. These two families trace their roots to the beautiful Marche and Abruzzo regions in Central Italy, where one can find rich cultural traditions and recipes passed down from generation to generation. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and proudly runs five locations in Ocean City, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, serving fresh items like handmade mozzarella cheese, pasta, pizza, cookies and crispy bread, as well as high quality imported items from Italy. Touch of Italy is proud to bring the Italian tradition to costal Delaware and Maryland, and pay tribute to our ancestors, who imparted to us a love of food and family.

My husband raves about their spinach....

Quaint place that gets very busy so want to eat early. Good food but small place. Very Italian and lovely.

I'm Italian, over 70 years old and have dined in Italian restaurants in Boston, Providence, New York, new Jersey, San Francisco and even Albuquerque. I grew up in Italian households, my grandmother's pasta made by hand and wine made by grandpa. The dishes at Touch of Italy are authentic and of the very best I have had. They are fresh,... More

Relaxed atmosphere , great food. Very laid back. Like eating in grandma's kitchen!!! Friday night can be crowded in season , but get there early and you may be seated quickly.

Excellent Italian restaurant ! Love heading over there and catching happy hour menu with friends. The Coastal Highway Rehoboth Beach location is spacious with friendly waitstaff. The Lewes Second Street location is intimate but great waitstaff and same wonderful food ! Try the pizza it is good; the sandwiches and salads are large enough to split !

A friend and I stopped in for lunch, neither of us had been there before. Great location right on the corner. I had sweet sausage, pepper and onions on a seeded roll. It was very good. It did not come with chips or any sides. We had a window seat which I would recommend. This location is not very big... More

Being Italian, my standards for Italian restaurants tend to be higher. Touch of Italy does not disappoint. The place is part of their deli, so things are a little noisy, and there are not a lot of tables so it gets pretty busy sometimes. But the service is excellent. Professional and attentive without being pushy. Plus the food is very... More

We are locals and enjoy going out in the winter. Service was great. Portions were huge for chicken parmesan! I buy bread there all the time when I want good bread which is hard to find in Sussex County!

We have been coming to Touch of Italy for the last few years. It is one of those places that has become a "must do" when in Lewes. It can get a bit crowded, but the ambiance makes the place, the staff is very friendly and the food is consistently delicious. It's a great place for very good Italian food... More

Very small diner like place I didn't see anything I liked on menu I had the minnestroni soup it was okay a little pricy for small amount in big bowl. My husband liked his spinach ravioli he said it was good it had a butter like sauce no marinara like I would like.
