Description: Touch of Italy was born out of two Italian family traditions that trace...
Touch of Italy was born out of two Italian family traditions that trace back to the late 1800's. These two families trace their roots to the beautiful Marche and Abruzzo regions in Central Italy, where one can find rich cultural traditions and recipes passed down from generation to generation. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and proudly runs five locations in Ocean City, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, serving fresh items like handmade mozzarella cheese, pasta, pizza, cookies and crispy bread, as well as high quality imported items from Italy. Touch of Italy is proud to bring the Italian tradition to costal Delaware and Maryland, and pay tribute to our ancestors, who imparted to us a love of food and family.

Great dinner!

We are locals and enjoy going out in the winter. Service was great. Portions were huge for chicken parmesan! I buy bread there all the time when I want good bread which is hard to find in Sussex County!

We have been coming to Touch of Italy for the last few years. It is one of those places that has become a "must do" when in Lewes. It can get a bit crowded, but the ambiance makes the place, the staff is very friendly and the food is consistently delicious. It's a great place for very good Italian food... More

Very small diner like place I didn't see anything I liked on menu I had the minnestroni soup it was okay a little pricy for small amount in big bowl. My husband liked his spinach ravioli he said it was good it had a butter like sauce no marinara like I would like.

The innkeepers at Dogfish recommended this restaurant and we were pleased. My wife ordered salmon and I had a calzone, both were plentiful and tasty. Next time we're going to order one of the delicious looking desserts from the case.

The service was expert, the food was amazingly fresh & delicious and the atmosphere had positive energy. I ordered the Escarole Soup & meatballs with ricotta and basil and my husband ordered the Wedding Soup & the #5 Sandwich (Mortadella, Prosciutto, Soppressata & fresh Mozzarella!) The courses arrived promptly by a very pleasant, congenial server, Sergio. After we slowly consumed... More

Touch of Italy is a great Italian deli and restaurant that worth a visit! The food is outstanding and we frequent the place quite often! I love the eggplant tower which you can get as a lunch or dinner and the sandwiches there are great! My husband and I always share a sandwich since it is huge and we especially... More

Looking for an authentic Italian family restaurant? Touch of Italy is the real deal! Delicious overstuffed sandwiches. My favorite is the dante with grilled eggplant, roasted red peppers, grilled olives, marinated mushrooms, artichokes, and cheese all stuffed into a monster size homemade sub roll. Also love the escarole and white bean soup, just like Granny's! Gotta say the lasagna is... More

My husband and I have a second home in Delaware so we're in the area quite often. When we're there we go to Touch of Italy every 3 days. The food is very good and being from the New York metropolitan area, we know Italian food. The staff is wonderful. They're welcoming, polite and go out of their way to... More
