Excellent, Skate, Wine, etc.. but lost me on a deconstructed Calamari that felt like they were to lazy to heat up the oil and batter the squid. I will go back for sure.

The food here is excellent. The drinks are terrific. I don't drink martinis, but i do at the Kindle! It can be a bit noisy, not much you can do about it. It can also become crowded, so suggest you get there earlier then later. The waitstaff very nice and accommodating.
Decided to visit our trip to Lewes with dinner at Kindle and the food did not disappoint, but the noise level did not match the food. Started with the crab Norfolk which was flavorful if a bit skimpy for $16. The day boat scallops were bursting with flavor nicely accompanied by the crouton (really more of an open faced grilled...

Was in the area on business and decided, with a friend, to try Kindle. Place was packed at 5:30 on a Wednesday night. We sat at the bar and received exceptional service. Even though there were , obviously, a number of regulars also eating at the bar, my friend and I were treated as if the bartender (wish I could...

Definitely will visit again. Martinis were fabulous and apps were yummy. It is a very small restaurant and we sat at the bar. Kindle fries are worth a try.
This is a small restaurant on a side street in a tiny town that could rival a big city menu. The entrees were presented nicely. The bar menu had many wonderful selection of wine as well as beer and cocktails.
Another great dining experience for 10 friends who enjoy good food, drinks, atmosphere and plenty of laughs. Ten people descending upon the busy Kindle Restaurant was no problem at all for the chef nor the waitstaff. Our server was Megan who was very knowledgeable of the menu, pleasant, extremely timely, attentive and funny as well as personable.
I and others...

Kindle is a great place to stop by for a drink at the bar, light fare or complete dinner. They have seating outside with a cozy fireplace or seats inside the main dining area . The soups are excellent and entrees out of this world.. Try the Mac and cheese..it's the best anywhere. The chef is very creative and staff...

This is a relatively small place that serves fine dining without the white tabelcloths. I was just amazed at the fine and uniquely superior tasting food. I wanted to tell the chef directly. This may be the very best meal I have ever had. And I have traveled the globe and stayed in and eaten at truly 5 star places....

This was our first stop when we arrived at Lewes for the first time. Cozy restaurant on the main strip. Food was amazing. Squash soup and beet salad aren't something I typically order but I took and chance and didn't regret it (washed down with a Red Pear cocktail). Hubby had the filet sandwich, which was cooked perfectly, and my...
