La Quetzalteca offers an inviting atmosphere, great Margaritas and friendly service. My only issue was the beef in my fajita, it was a little chewy. Other than that, the food was very good!

This Mexican restaurant compares favorably with chain restaurants such as Senior Panchos, El Toritos, etc. Margaritas appear to be from pre made mix; not very strong or sour. It has all the usual types of dishes on menu, like the chains. Our table's orders included fajitas, chimichanga, burrito and enchiladas. All of our dishes were good, and the fajitas were... More

Last night my husband and I went to La Quetzalteca. Only four couples/families were there. We were seated quickly, but after that, things did not go well. My iced tea came quickly, but my husband had to remind the waiter( after geting up and searching for him) that he ordered a martini. VERY VERY SLOW SERVICE.The tortilla soup was very... More

My cousin and I were on our first trip to the East Coast from Laguna Beach, CA and were not expecting much. The restaurant was certainly on par with most in California. The tostadas were very good and we liked the salsa although it was not like most that we have here in California. Most of our salsas have chunks... More

Poor excuse for Mexican food. CA burrito was full of mushy white rice and a very few shrimp @ $11.25. Chile Relleno was stuffed with potatoes (YUCK) Slow service. Will not go back.

Exactly what you would expect out of a Mexican restaurant. Good chips, salsa, and food for a good value. Inside is also decorated nicely to match the cultural theme. Looks like good place to have a nice happy hour.

On the way home from a recent trip it was dinner time and we love mexican so we saw this place and decided to stop. Man we should have kept on going. We were greeted and sat down right away and from there it went down hill. The complimentary chips were stale, the salsa was so watered down it ran... More

I cannot give this restaurant higher than a five and "Excellent" so if I could it would be a six or higher. Outstanding food everytime I come here and consistant.
