This restaurant burned down last month (2/2014) Other than that it was a nice restaurant for lunch, my friends loved to go there.
This restaurant was a really great place and had good food and great prices, however, sadly, the restaurant has had a fire recently. They will be rebuilding as far as I understand, so, when they are back I would give them a try !!
Very friendly atmosphere, Great food, god service. great bakery options. Good for meetings and/or family gatherings.
My companion and I went in for lunch. We ordered two turkey sandwiches on rye. They came with a pickle and some chips. And it went all downhill from there. The smallest pieces of bread (not rye) I have ever seen. No meat to speak of. The plating looked like some child was playing kitchen. Quite frankly, the entire kitchen... More
This is a great place for a quick, thrifty, good meal. It is a very typical diner atmosphere and has a local, hometown feel. Everyone seems to be a regular. As a non-regular, it reminded me of a New Jersey diner and I especially loved the moose decorations. The wait staff is typical brash-style, not unfriendly but no nonsense. The... More
Years ago I came here with my parents to eat on the way to the beach and remember it as good, solid diner food. Always loved the scrapple sandwich (don't judge, I'm a Delaware native). My husband and I visit Delaware each September for his high school reunions and each year we take several friends to 'Kirby and Holloway's' for dinner. The food is always good and the cost is unbelieveable for the quality and quantity you get. After such a sumptious meal, no one wants dessert but this year, Tom's classmate Rachel Ann, made... More
Good value. It looked like they had spruced the place up since our last visit. If you like diners you'll like this place. Save room for their wide variety of desserts.
This one was easy to find...had good service...good food...generous portions...really affordable. We'd eat here again - we had turkey, dressing, potatoes and broccoli - all fresh, hot and seasoned just right - the rolls were fresh and good...the coffee was hot. We got there for dinner at the right time - there were lots of folks waiting for table when... More
Really good home cooked food, Belgium waffles, huge omelets, it's really the best deal in town. I like the historical feel to the place too, little touches of Old Dover here and there, and the servers really know what they're doing.
