Decided to try a new place for crabs this year. Did a little research and came up Ed's. WOW what a deal compared to our regular place. More convenient to get to from Rehoboth. Better selection of sizes, better price and cooked to perfection. I should know as I have been eating Maryland Blue Crabs since before I can remember.... More

In over 25 years. And thank goodness for that. Tasty marinated grilled chicken, served with pickles and a roll and chips. I think they marinate the chicken with pickle juice like the roadside Kiwanis chicken bbqs do on the weekends. Good shrimp too. Tasty food served in a true dump. Go. You'll love it.

Come to Ed’s if you want al fresco dining, great seafood and big portions. Do not come to Ed’s if you want a fine dining experience. Ed’s consists of a hut with picnic tables scattered in front of it. However the great seafood and relaxed nature keep up coming back every time we visit Dewey beach! Recommend the shrimp and... More

Ordered lobster tails to go. Came with corn. I specifically asked if they had LEMON. They said yes. I then asked if they had butter. They said yes. So I spent $20 plus on one dinner of lobster tails. Got back to the hotel and found: the "butter" was that horrible crap like on movie popcorn but worse, and the... More

The food here is bad. very low quality frozen items! the portions are tiny and not worth the price.looks like a nice place with real seafood but more like fast boardwalk food!

My sandwich was great-oysters crispy and fresh, fresh bread and good slaw. My husbands fish and chips were beyond greasy-and the fish tasted old/frozen? Steamed shrimp were decent, albeit slightly iodine-y. I guess one needs to know what to order to ensure a good meal.

I am not related to Ed nor am I invested in his establishment. We have been going to Ed's for the last 8-years and have always enjoyed Ed's. His grilled chicken dinner is excellent. It is a marinated half chicken, perfectly cooked, and served with an ear of corn. The steamed shrimp is outstanding. We also like the fried clams,... More

We were hesitant because of the mixed reviews but tried it anyway and I'm glad we did. My husband had a crab cake sandwich and I had the snow crab legs and we shared the mac and cheese. This was my favorite meal I had all week in Dewey Beach. Prices were reasonable and the staff was helpful. We did... More

Wife ordered on dozen "jumbo" crabs. When she went to pick them up, the guy asked a helper to retrieve them from the back. The helper responded, "Where would you like me to find jumbo crabs right now??". The man helping her claimed to actually have them and sent the kid on two separate missions to find them. At this...
