We had such a nice time late one afternoon having drinks and appetizers that we returned the following evening for dinner. Initially we were a little concerned about the limited menu, but everything on it (and with the size of our party I think we managed to try everything on it) was superb. I wish I could remember the chef's... More

We had our wedding party at Ivy and it could not have been more wonderful. The staff was incredibly accommodating, from setting up chairs, to serving drinks, and then our delicious dinner. The setting was perfect and the weather also. Thank you Kat, Eileen, Izzy and all others for helping to make our special day even more special. When we... More

Four of us went to Ivy for a girls' night out. We were seated right by the bay to enjoy an incredible sunset. As the sun was setting, classical music was playing in the back. Our meal was delicious. Thanks to the recommendation of our waitress, we each ordered 4 small bites (tapas). It was plenty and so good! Very... More

My first time there - the tapas were excellent. I would go there again when I visit Dewey Beach. The food overall was excellent - I tried everything.

My brother was visiting me from France and we were looking for a nice yet laid back restaurant on the water. Ivy did not disappoint and I'm in the restaurant business! From the phone call to ask about the wait to the arrival where we were immediately recognized as having called to the attention during dinner, everything was spot on.... More

The view is sensational, the menu has lots of unexpected choices for appitizers, but the entree choices are very limited. Sharing the $50 poobah (it is hard not to think of the Fred Flinstone's lodge president when you say it) is one of each appitizer is the way to go. Three couples in our group each ordered a poobah and... More

The tapas style of food made it fun. They also had $2 Absolut martini's for happy hour! The waiters were fun and friendly and the view of the bay was beautiful.

Can't beat the waterview. We ate outside and even though it was a terrible week for the heat, the breeze from the bay made it lovely. We were almost the only people there both nights. The first night we had the poobah which for $50 lets you sample 16 different appetizers. We found almost all to be excellent. The mixed... More

My husband and I always enjoy an evening at Venus on our visits to Dewey beach. However when we went in August, Venus had become The Ivy. It is now a tappas (small plates) venue. The items on the menu were creative and delicious. To list a few favorites, the Blue Cheese Truffel fries ($3) are out of this world!... More

We went there with a party of 10 in August. The portions are pathectically small. To serve a tapas dish that includes one shrimp or one mushroom is not acceptable. We ordered the "grand poobah" to start and actually laughed at what arrived. The food tasted great but most items are just one bite. The service on a Sunday evening... More
