We are never disappointed when we eat at Jimmy's Grille. Both my husband and I had their delicious downhome fried chicken. I had their collard greens and famous lima beans and dumplings as sides which were so good that I didn't even leave a crumb. Their rolls are so delicious that I can never get enough of them. The portions... More

Just recently moved to Delaware, but was already familiar with Jimmy's. Had been there many years ago and had a good memory of it. Everyone who wants to come visit mentions going there. It is a casual atmosphere with a large selection on the menu. The baked goods always look inviting. I have not sampled a lot of things on... More

Spent a couple of days in Dagsboro, DE with a couple of HS friends. They took me over to Jimmy's in Bridgeville and I had remembered eating there maybe 25 years ago. It has been enlarged and business was booming. Went for breakfast and wanted scrapple and by golly they had it. Delicious breakfast and very reasonable for three people,... More

Oh my, those slippery dumplings and Lima beans, the Southern style tomatoes like Aunt Lucy used to make! Yeasty rolls, yummy baked desserts and respectable fried chicken. Jimmy's is a ritual whoever I am in the area, and yes I will go out of my way. Good, casual and well priced ...hard to find these days! Went Sept 4 2014

The day that I went it was so busy that I had to wait for a seat. Food and baked goods great. Salad bar was small but adequate.

Jimmy's is a great stop in between DC and the beaches. The breakfasts are soooo good! Perfect, fluffy pancakes. My husband's eggs were just as he ordered and all the classic breakfast sides were gobbled up fast. I only wish we'd had room for pie.

Decent food and plenty of it. Service poor to fair. Most food is fried and deserts are huge. This is a dinner / grill do not expect 4 star food. Nothing memorable here.

Looking for a "family" style restaurant driving from the beach? Jimmie's Grille is the place. Low prices and good eating. Down home cooking. Had the fried chicken with lima beans and scalloped potatoes, it was delicious...Good service, prices that won't scare you and nice home homey atmosphere..Only one negative, Iced tea very weak...

While on a day trip to Delaware to play golf - we came upon this little gem. Step back in time when you walk into this family friendly place. As we seated ourselves, and took a menu off of a ledge we noticed that they were known for their fried chicken. So, we have been craving good fried chicken for... More

Found this family diner on the way to the beach. Best meatloaf EVER. My spouse had a BLT. Really impressive dessert/pie list as well. Well worth the stop. Service was a little slow but friendly.
