Great food!

My family discovered Stewart's years ago as a local place to eat. The food is terrific-they have some of the best nachos around-and my friends tell me the beer is great as well. We chanced upon the brewery on St. Patty day weekend. They had a nice mixed age crowd that was a lot of fun. They unfortunately weren't pouring flights due to the crowd. We did sample several beers and really enjoyed their special stouts. They had a coffee, Irish and chocolate stout. We enjoyed some appetizers especially the fried cheese curds... More

I love this place! Some of the best craft beer in the state and a menu that is surprisingly interesting. Good place to watch the games but never too loud to spoil conversation. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the place is being renovated to keep the atmosphere current.

We stopped in here on a Saturday morning around noon. It was pretty quite but there were people sitting at the bar. We were there to sample the beer and have a couple appetizers. I highly highly recommend the "cheese curds" appetizer. It is kind of along the idea of mozzarella sticks, but smaller, irregularly shaped, and out of this... More

Great staff on Friday night Jan 16th when I visited. The Black and Tan was poured perfectly. The Barbarian soft pretzels were a terrific appetizer.

We had the nachos and salsa that were very big. I also ordered the roast beef which was good, but not great. It was not sliced thin like most roast beef is. It has plenty of cheese as that was very good...you can never have to much cheese.....

The nice thing about this place is there is something for everyone on the menu, even for vegetarians. Service is good, prices are reasonable and a nice bar.

After GoApe nearby, we were looking for some lunch. Saw the reviews for Stewart's and thought we'd give it a try. A bit disorganized, but it was a busy football Sunday. The nachos appetizer is to die for! Loved the Reuben, Mac n Cheese, and Cuban. Tried the Irish Red Ale and was not disappointed! Service was fast and friendly.

We stopped by Stewart's today to have lunch with some friends. It was our first trip to the place and we really enjoyed it. I tried two of their beers, the IPA and Octoberfest. Unlike many of these breweries, Stewart's doesn't overhop their beers. I found both of these brews to be very refreshing and very tasty. As far as... More

So what is there in Bear, Delaware? Well, the tax free shopping in the entire state and a whole lot of resturants and bars, and Stewarts Brewing Company. Stewarts has been my introduction into and continued advancement into the love of microbreweries. You can't buy the brews in a store, only on site which allows for you to sample the... More
