We will return. Nice little place!

We were looking for someplace different for a pizza on a rainy Saturday early evening. The initial impression was not much seating but a nice wood finished back room quaint in itself and warm was quickly found. It was not very busy but the waitress seated us with several menus. This restaurant isn't far from Sturbridge or Putnam, and makes a great addition to a shopping or historical day out. We don't come here often, but every time we do, our food is well cooked and enjoyable. The chicken tenders here are delicious and the prices are pretty great. The staff is eager to serve you and the views from... More

Stopped by a few times as it is convenient. The staff is usually friendly enough, but the food quality is inconsistent. It has the feel of a gas station that sells food and ice cream. Perhaps if they focused on their food instead of their convenance store wares it would be better. A restaurant should not sell cigarettes and cigars,... More

Everything we've tried here has been delicious. The old-time atmosphere is great and service friendly...nothing fancy...but food is top notch. Our favorite at the moment : Warm corned beef sandwich (they make the corned beef themselves!). Tender, thick, generous slices of corned beef, served on marble rye with homemade potato salad...to die for!!! Finish off the experience by ordering a... More

Here is good, homemade food- nothing fancy but delicious. If you are leaf-peeping or on an antiquing visit, you can stop by..pies are a specialty. In good weather, there are picnic tables. This is also a small general store with grocery items and other things.

Truly the best and closest thing to New York style pizza! Their food is fresh and I always look forward to see what new pie is on display for ordering!! Their service is top notch as well where they always put the customer first!!!

The family running this continually improves something. The food has always been perfect for the setting and they have added an addition with air conditioning, a picnic shelter with tables, good parking, clean bathrooms, great ice cream, table service, beer and wine, tremendous pizzas, the best chili this side of the Pecos and a large selection of food for any... Love ,love Sweet Evalina's! This place is a gem. I usually love all the specials, however we recently ordered the autumn pizza and was disappointed. We thought from the description it was a white pizza but came with sauce and mozzarella that did not go with the squash, caramelized onions and goat cheese. I guess next time I should ask... More

My boyfriend and I were on a leaf-peeping tour of eastern Connecticut. We stopped at Sweet Evalina's for lunch. I wasn't too impressed with the place. I had a burger, and it was your run of the mill burger. He had the Nicole wrap, which he said was fantastic. Service was a bit slow, but it was busy the afternoon... More
