My husband and I visited shortly after the Ramsey debockle and we knew it would be harder than ever to recover from the terrible loss that had happened when their menu was changed but I am Sooo happy to say we went there today and just about ALL of their menu has returned.. Their 3 course and 4 course meals... More

My son loves the turkey dinner there, Always count on comfort food. My daughters wanted shake and bake pork chops during one visit. It wasn't on the menu but in 20 minutes it was on there plates.

Really a 2 1/2. We were hoping this lunch would inspire us a future visit. Much better than it was previously, but sad. The food is just ok. Atmosphere could be much, much better, but an improvement on the past. Definitely geared to an existing, local, client base. This is a restaurant/Inn of historic value - a New England road... More

For most of the last 60 years of Hardisty Family ownership, my family has been coming to the historic Curtis House for traditional New England fare. My family is no longer local, but we stop in now at least once a year. Last year, after G Ramsey gutted the traditional menu to create streamlining and efficiencies, I wasn't sure I... More

I have only one thing to say that's even slightly negative. The staff is friendly, pleased to tell you about the history of this establishment. However, the wait staff isn't that polished and could use some pointers. Which is kind of ironic because Gordon Ramsey had just been there with Hotel Hell. But geez they were so pleasant it's hard... We ate at Curtis House last Saturday. The food was disappointing & slow, to say the least. Except for the pot roast 1 of us had, the rest of the food ordered, wasn't good. Two people ordered soft shell crab, which tasted very fishy. We've eaten that before, in other restaurants, and it has never tasted like that, before. We... More

My family has been dining at the Curtis House for over 50 years. Every new generation is introduced to this Woodbury gem as soon as they can sit up in a booster seat! The atmosphere is so delightful and calming. Gently burning fireplaces, a charming seating area while you wait for your table and lots of memorabilia to peruse while... More

My original review in january 2014 needs to be updated. We were there in June and wont ever go back. We ate downstairs at "city hall" .A charmless cavern of a room. The food was forgettable and so were the mixed drinks (margaritas). If i led you on with a past review, i am sorry. The Gordon Ramsey redo has... More
