Just like home - Food is All American with a Twist - Service was wonderful - Everyone seemed to be really trying to please us during our Dinner - Historic Setting with attention to detail.

We ate at Curtis House last Saturday. The food was disappointing & slow, to say the least. Except for the pot roast 1 of us had, the rest of the food ordered, wasn't good. Two people ordered soft shell crab, which tasted very fishy. We've eaten that before, in other restaurants, and it has never tasted like that, before. We... More

My family has been dining at the Curtis House for over 50 years. Every new generation is introduced to this Woodbury gem as soon as they can sit up in a booster seat! The atmosphere is so delightful and calming. Gently burning fireplaces, a charming seating area while you wait for your table and lots of memorabilia to peruse while... More

My original review in january 2014 needs to be updated. We were there in June and wont ever go back. We ate downstairs at "city hall" .A charmless cavern of a room. The food was forgettable and so were the mixed drinks (margaritas). If i led you on with a past review, i am sorry. The Gordon Ramsey redo has... More

When we lived in the Woodbury area, the Curtis House was one of the restaurants that we visited occasionally. Recently, while vacationing in the area, we stopped by again. We were not disappointed. The Curtis House is located in an old building, over 200 years old, with typical colonial New England decor. The meals that we had were very good... More

My family and I went to the Curtis House for a few days and had a wonderful time. Food was good, service was great, and a very historic place to stay.

My wife and I recently stopped at the Curtis House and it was not what we expected. I read an article in our local paper that the popular TV show Kitchen Nightmare along with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey was at the oldest Inn in our area. I've never been to the Curtis House so I was expecting a menu made... More

the food menu is interesting, home cooked meals are large in portion size. A safe bet with a little history tied in.

My wife and I drove out here for lunch, and decided to have her baby shower here. The food was of surprising quality when compared to the price. The portion was far too much, but certainly did not weigh down the dish. We had sandwiches for lunch. When reviewing the menus for the shower, the prices were incredible, the options... More

The Curtis House restaurant offers a wonderful menu, a variety of dishes at a modest price. We dine at the Curtis House frequently and are never disappointed. Our favorites are the Pot Roast, Prime Rib, Stuffed Shrimp, and Turkey dinners. All have been superb. Their all inclusive menu options provides soup or salad, entree and dessert. Try their creamy dill... More
