Great outdoors by the lake (on the left side of the restaurant)

Really good food and terrific to dine outdoors ONLY if the left side (facing the restaurant) is open....the right side is nice but faces the parking lot....not too scenic.

Without question the most disappointing meal I've had in years. I suspect many of their appys like the bacon scallops, Beef Wellington mini's, etc are bulk bought at the frozen section from Costco then re heated. The prices for the quality is Outrageous! Sorry folks but this was SUCH A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Ally & Rachel stayed open for our group of 20 people on a terribly snowing evening. We were supposed to arrive at 8:30 but didn't get there until 9:30. When we arrived starving & tired, they served us great food in a very timely manner, handled all of our separate billing requests, and were very delightful during our whole meal... More

We met friends here for a night out as this was a halfway point. The bartender was very nice and took good care of us. There is a nice selection of wine. We were seated for dinner and the food was very good. We had oysters and salmon cake to start. I had the gluten free carbonara. It was very... More

I was here on a Saturday night with two family members. We had a reservation, but it looked like there were some open tables. I had the house Cabernet, which was very good. Along with the Caprese salad and their chicken entree (I think it was the saltimbocca). All of the food was excellent, everyone else seemed to enjoy their... More

We went to this restaurant for brunch a couple of months ago and had a terrible experience. I wrote directly to the restaurant and I was contacted by the owner who offered to show us it was not a typical dining experience at their restaurant. We went for dinner a couple of weeks ago. We were delighted with the food... More

During Christmas week I returned to Vito's for lunch with two friends. (My 1st dining experience was dinner with friends in Nov.) Again, the food quality and service were excellent. The portions were generous and nicely complemented by the bread basket. Since the three of us get together once or twice a year, when we finished our meal, I especially... More

I hosted four people (group of five) and apprised our waitress the gathering was social in nature and we desired to order items easily shared. We were offered a wonderful group of hot and cold items that were not offered as a specific selection. Our "small" plates arrived simultaneously and each was sufficiently sized for all to share. My guests... More

My husband and I attended a recent beer and bacon dinner at Vito's by the Water. It was our first time at the restaurant, so I can't speak to the normal dining experience, but this special dinner was great. The food was delicious, the chef/owner was friendly and engaging, and the beer (provided by Back East) was served generously. There... More

Owner / Chef loves food and people ... combo makes for a great experience. Large restaurant with smaller dining areas keeps it intimate. Local suppliers for many things keeps it fresh and keeps it a community thing. Special event dinners, happy hour specials on the patio, Sunday brunch ... and the consistently good favorites on the menu. Pretty much same... More
