Fresh seafood

The staff seldom smiles and prices are too high, but if your primarily concern is the best in seafood than City Fish is where you should shop. No other place combines variety and freshness. I recommend signing up for their email of weekly specials.

It was a hot & sunny Saturday. Been craving fish & chips since prior to my surgery in May. Hubby & I went around 2 PM. a wonderful surprise - I could get an add on of soft shelled crab. so we split the shrimp & chips special with a side of fish & an add on of the crab... More

I went in to buy my fish and spoke to the owner's son about a coupon that I had on my phone. He said that they don't honor coupons that come from phones because it doesn't represent ENOUGH OF AN EFFORT on the part of the customer. He said that "people should make the effort to cut out the paper... More

I would like to thank you for shopping at City Fish and for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. I'm sorry to hear that it was an unpleasant one. Regarding the coupon: It is simply the store policy to only accept a "printed" coupon for the discount. We do make the coupon available on our... More

I was expecting really good fish and chips here - there was a line to get food for lunch. When I got my food, the fried fish was just ok and the breading was a little soggy. I think I'll give them another try, but a was disappointed.

Hi Kristi, I'm sorry to hear that your expectations were not met when trying our Fish & Chips for the first time. It is our best seller! We use a dry seasoned flour, as opposed to a batter, when frying the fish. It generally produces a slight crispiness with a flakey center. And, it is also the very best when... More

City Fish has the freshest fish of any fish market in the area. The cuts of fish, shell fish etc are second to none. If you need to buy fish this is the place. There is a restaurant portion but the real draw is to purchase your fish and cook at home

Here you order your food in the market and then either take it to go,or,move to their pleasant dining room to sit down and enjoy it still piping hot. We split a fish and chips dinner since the portions are ample. The dining room is clean and attended by a friendly woman who can also serve you beer. It's a... More

At City Fish in Wethersfield, you can buy your lunch and enjoy it there in their dining area. If you are in the mood for wine or beer they are happy to serve you in their dining area. Before you leave be sure to check out their great fish market for something to cook later. Enjoy.
