The place is the corner establishment in a back area of a strip mall. Inside there’s a smallish front area, two or three tables and then behind what I remember as a case of bottled drinks, another table. Just to the left as you come in there’s a counter, and behind it a large work area. There’s a strong smell... More

Bring cash and eat! No CC here. Small, cash only, off the beaten path and super fresh! This spot is awesome. The lobster tank and kitchen gets more space then diners.-Thats always a good thing! Fried, steamed, baked anything,Lob rolls & fresh chowda (all 3! Kinds) are available. Do not be surprised if you can't find a seat inside this spot is great!

Westfair is primarily known for their fish and chips (and rightly so) but its so much more. The fish and shellfish are all excellent. As the saying goes - if it was any fresher it would still be swimming. I had the broiled Haddock dinner last week and it was terrific. Fresh, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The quality... This place is not easy to find (hidden behind some other stores) and its certainly not fancy, but the authentic New England Lobster Rolls are just about the best you can find. We like taking them out either home or to the beach. You won't be disappointed.

Best fish and chips around. Prices are fair and I wouldn't consider expensive A little hard to find, but it's across the street from Stop and Shop in the back building. So if you don't look down the driveway you'll miss it. Call ahead and place order. They make everything to order, so it's always fresh and hot, but on... More

Love the fish and chips. Really love the batter dipped onion rings. Clam strips are great as well. Small place big taste. Worth the trip to find this hidden gem. Tucked behind a strip mall on the post road. Everything made to order and fresh. Just remember cash only. Worse thing is to find yourself nearby craving fish and no... More

Just like home. Only thing missing is wrapping in news paper. Not easy to find, but well worth the effort. Mushy peas please!

Westfair Fish & Chips is one of the most authentic places around! I try to go at least once a week if not more! Everything is always fresh and served with the best cole slaw ever! The prices are fair for anything you buy and the lobster roll for $16 is really worth it. The atmosphere is calm and you... More

They do NOT take credi cards. That's my only complaint. This is a VERY informal place. A few tables or take out. On a nice night there are a couple cafe tables and pin nick tables outside. This is a once-every- two-weeks kind of place for my extended family of 8. A solid 4.5 stars.

This was our first time and it won't be our last! We'd spent the afternoon at a local beach and my wife suggested we try a place that was recommended to her. Oh, my... why have I been driving to the eastern Connecticut shoreline for good 'beach' seafood for almost thirty years when this place was just 20 miles down... More
