This place is a long time Westport Favorite and they have a wide variety of food to satisfy everyone. My wife had a steamed lobster that was perfectly done and I had a bacon cheeseburger that was exactly as ordered - medium rare. It's also right on the water so if you sit at the bar you can watch the... More

Driving thru CT on I-95 I make it a point to stop at the Black Duck in Westport. This is a dive bar! but they serve excellent food. The place was so busy when we visited, the line was out the door last week. We had to wait awhile for a spot to open up. The clams casino are so... More

Went because I heard that this place was featured on Triple D. Had the stuffed burger which was just ok. I probably would go with a regular burger if I went back (and I would probably go back). friend had fish n chips which weren't the best. It's pretty busy so don't expect drink refills or a second beer, you'll... More

The Lobster Reuben is fantastic! Black Duck is known locally as a dive bar where burgers are the usual fare. We sit at the bar with a great water view and enjoy our Lobster Reuben's. Enjoy!

Everybody, please be totally honest when assessing this restaurant . It has a loyal following of locals but the food is truly mediocre at best, the staff appears disinterested and the bathrooms are still so DISGUSTING that you should pray that you will not need to go while at The Duck. I had stopped going after being a frequent diner... More

We travelled from Georgia to Providence and this restaurant was our destination for dinner the second day. Found it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and decided we had to try it. Three teenagers put away two dozen wings without trying and loved them. They were crisp and they offered a few sauces. Tried a lobster roll and it was delicious.... More

Awful lunch there last Saturday. So looking forward to the one place in Westport that was serving Steamers! The Duck has long been a go to place for many Westporters and out of towers. But I must say I was there long ago and it was nothing to write home about. But I figured we would give it a try... More

Piled high (just like the photo), some of the best clams you'll ever have from Chef Tim! Veggie Gumbo soup was also out of this world!

This is a good joint, it serves good to very good pub food in a causal setting. The only caveat is that the food isn't excellent only very good at best. We started with the cajun shrimp, good and fresh but overburdened by deep frying in a dark crust that overwhelmed the shrimp. The crab cakes were good but, again,... More
