Great food!

They squeezed 10 of us in for lunch. Burgers, Fish & Chips, Soft Shell Crabs and Lobster Rolls - not a single complaint at the table!

The Black duck has been in Westport forever and still looks like it's going to fall into the Saugatuck River. The burgers are the best in town .....Food is good overall for the money. It is an experience... it's tradition in Westport

Great food, believe it, and big portions. Atmosphere is in keeping with the "fun loving local joint" motif.

Have been going to the Black Duck for years. Always fun and decent food. Don't understand the bad reviews. Come on folks. It is not a 5 star restaurant on the Upper East Side. It is a fun local place in Westport with local people!! Lighten up folks!!!!

My buddies took me here for my birthday outing. Great mariner ambiance--it's an old barge beached on shore and is shored-up to keep it in place. It lists to one side which makes it interesting.

I was looking for a low-key brunch when someone remembered seeing this place featured on Diner, Drive-in's and Dives. We googled the menu and decided to give it a shot. I am thrilled we did! First of all, it is somewhat hidden and easy to miss, practically below the overpass and behind a building or two by the water. It... More

Traveling home from JFK I took my own advice and looked in TripAdvisor for a restaurant on the water near my location. After reading several different restaurant reviews we decided to try The Black Duck. The first thing we noticed were the tilted floors from this old seafaring barge. It sits on another sunken vessel so that's the reason for the... More

The food was very good. The Turkey Reuben was delicious as were the sweet potato fries. The atmosphere was different & made the dining experience better! We enjoyed our dinner there & I'd highly recommend it!

The slanted floor and tables may be a little disconcerting, but it's what gives this restaurant it's uniqueness. The burgers are good, as is the hangar steak. The overall experience is really pleasant and fun and the prices are reasonable.

This place is a classic! Where else can you find a waterfront saloon WITH great food?! I recommend everything from the steamers, steak au poivre to the stuffed burgers. Don't forget the homemade onion rings. Wolfie and Glen are very entertaining and skilled bartenders.
