We have visited this restaurants in the past. It is a very popular restaurant. We decided to visit again after maybe a couple of years and came away with a "it is not that great " of a feeling. Lots of fried offerings, although I stayed away from those. My lobster casserole was good but very pricey. My wife ordered... More

The crowd cannot be wrong. This place is swamped every night by people on the CN shore for the summer, including us. We go about once per week. Very good fresh fish with tasty sides. Excellent onion rings fair prices. Go early to minimize the wait

They should call it "clam soup" not chowder. It was thin and watery with tiny chunks I could easily identify. It had no flavor except a fishy aftertaste. I was supremely disappointed as I was expecting a thick flavorful chowder. I had two bites and could not bring myself to eat another. The fish sandwich was okay as long as... More

Service is friendly, helpful and efficient. Food is consistently good, never disapointed year after year. Fried clams and lobster roll are my favorites. A must go place for great seafood on the connecticut shoreline. Oysters, steamers and chowder also very good. We return several times each summer.

If you like seafood, there are plenty of options of food and ways to have it cooked. It is a bit commercial, but a lot of fun for sure. It is always packed so get there early!

Went to Lenny and Joes Fish Tale for the first time Friday night. Didn't even have to wait for a table on this Friday night. Awesome during this time of year and the parking lot was packed. Waitress was speedy with drink orders. I had a very tasty margarita on the rock no salt. I ordered the fish, scrod, and... More

Meal selections Fried 2 Ways with softshell crab and whole clams, Broiled Shrimp and Scallops, and Raw Clams on the half shell. First dish fabulous, broiled choice over cooked veggies, steamed, not browned seafood (and not hot), clams good. Disappointed overall. Every dish in past has been exceptional.

All of the locals know about this place. It has fantastic clam chowder and do yourself a favor... get an order of onion rings. But the real stars of this menu are the fried clams, fried shrimp, and their excellent lobster roll. It has a real folksy feel, the staff is courteous, and the portions are large. Highly recommended!

I had wanted to get a fried clam lunch from one of the clam sheds along the shore, but come to fond out the Clam Castle hadn't opened for the season yet so we stopped here. Great whole belly clams, good homemade onion rings and good service. Typical good New England seafood.
