Just Great Seafood

Don't let the casual atmosphere fool you, this place has very good food! This is a regular stop for us when visiting the CT shore. I drove about 45 mins round trip today just to go here for take out seafood to bring back to eat at the beach - well worth it! You've gotta try their whole belly... read more

I go to Bill's Seafood probably eight to ten times each year (mostly during the summer). The menu is pretty standard, but the best items on the menu are the seafood. You can sit inside or outside, and it is cash only. Outside is great when the weather is nice because you can sit near the river that flows into... More

It is not a fancy place. But, it is a busy place all year round. In the winter, you need to eat inside. Which has a dining room, and a bar. Sometimes live music. In the summer, you can eat outside, on a large , but sometimes crowded patio deck. Which also has a bar. People sometimes pull their boats... More

This place has seating outside on the water where you can drink and smoke, so its popular in the summer. If you are outside and don't like breathing secondhand smoke or the smell of cigarettes/cigars you should wait for a table far away from the smoking end as it travels over. The food is not cheap, healthy or especially good... More

They have a fried seafood platter for 2. It is very noisy here. Not great for talking. Service is average. Food is very good.

My first time eating here. Forget your credit cards - they only take cash. Dont worry there is an ATM. The food was ok, but primarily served with disposable cups, plates, and plastic forks, spoons and knives. There was a two person band who were very very good. I will probably opt for restaurants in the future that are more... More

Stopped by Bill's on way home from hockey game on recommendation from friend. Atmosphere is very typical of any seafood restaurant with very tight seating. Food was very good and fresh. Had a couple of appetizers for my meal. The oysters were very fresh and the calamari was perfectly cooked. Give them a try if you are in the area.

while on vacation I stopped by for the first time in many years. it was a Saturday afternoon and I remembered that they always had a sing along band, back in the day there was a hundred year old man, Dan Veci, I knew he wouldn't be there after all these years, but I was hoping for some music like...
