I've visited the Boom 3 times before writing this hoping the food and service would match the view and quite frankly the price. Unfortunately, I was disappointed again. The view itself is outstanding, try to be there at sunset and you will be thrilled with the view by the way the view is only good from the deck so do... More

On July 5, 2014 went with wife and 3.5 yr old - was great! Not a huge menu but food was way above average and really surprised, nothing at all negative to say - and 715p reservation was best time in July for amazing sunset - saw fireworks too. The fried shrimp app and filet was great!

We were just short of the closing time for lunch but the hostess graciously sat us on the open porch, beautiful view of the marina and water, we quickly ordered our meal but our server was very gracious and did not hurry us, My husband had the usual burger, tasty, I had the "signature pear salad with shrimp", lots of... We've heard good things about Boom and based on some recommendations decided to entertain a guest from California. We choose Boom for its view of the water. That was the best part. We had a reservation thinking we were lucky to get one on short notice. When we arrived at 7 (prime time), the place was virtually empty and stayed... More

Will never go back. Ambience was dark and gloomy. Entire restaurant needs an overhaul. Only one waiter who was a nice kid, but couldn't possibly attend to everyone himself. Never refilled water. Never came back to check if everything was ok. My husband had a chicken sandwich which was completely overcooked and dried out. I had the flounder which was... More

This place missed across the board for our group of 4. I'd comment on service if we actually had a server. Almost two hours in a near empty restaurant for apps and dinner. Thankfully we had a terrific view (which is the one redeeming quality of this place and reason for two stars). we ate at boom in september and... More

We dined here last Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy. My friend is an avid boater so being there surrounded by water and boats was really great. We had the Penne in vodka sauce with seafood which was outstanding and the Lobster Risotto and shared the onion rings to start. Our glasses of white wine were chilled perfectly.... More

My wife and I were staying at the Madison Beach Hotel, celebrating our wedding anniversary. We asked the hotel staff for a lunch recommendation, and we went to Boom. The lobster salad was delicious, the burger perfect, and the desserts were awesome. We enjoyed the ambience and the service was friendly and hospitable. All in all, we had a great... More

We have been here many times over the years and have never been disappointed. We have not been here in over a year and it was such a beautiful fall evening we had to see what we had been missing. Love the location and what an awesome treat to be able to eat outside. They have installed new weather enclosures... More

I met my parents at this restaurant for an evening meal. I wasn't expecting much for a restaurant in a marina, but I was blown away by this meal. The clam chowder was tasty, and my fish was perfectly cooked. Be sure to order the red onion rings, they were crispy and melted in your mouth. The wait staff was... More
