We always go to the lounge rather than the restaurant because we prefer the ambience. The food is by and large very, very good, imaginative, American-French fusion, with some Portuguese/Brazilian and Latin thrown in. They're famous for their fries, which are very good, but there's always something new and interesting on the menu. Super fast and efficient service, and great... More

This was recommended by our concierge, so we took the advise and tried it for our anniversary celebration. Everything we ordered was amazing - prepared with wonderful, unique flavorings that enhanced each taste, and very fresh. The service was superb as well. Glad we visited!

They call their Halibut "Summer on a Plate", i will tell you the name is perfect. All parts of the dish mesh perfectly. Dessert was a home run and the server was awesome.

Cafe Routier is one of the best restaurants for miles and miles around. The food is consistently outstanding: sophisticated, well prepared, and perfectly seasoned, The menu changes often to emphasize seasonal, local produce and to vary the offerings. In addition to the delicious always-available specialties, Cafe Routier rotates international/regional and seasonal dishes, so there's always something new to try. We... More

We last went to Cafe Routier several years ago and remember loving it. So we were anticipating it, perhaps too highly. The service was excellent (if it were just service, I'd give it five stars), but the food was incosistent. (Food rating alone would be three stars.) The clam chowder was very rich; sort of a Rhode Island with a... More

An extraordinary restaurant in all respects--the superior quality and selection of the healthiest and freshest farm to table foods, exquisitely and delicately prepared dishes and presentation, the ambiance, and their sensitivity, attention and care to meet special dietary needs including celiac are all deeply valued and appreciated. Cafe Routier is a rare find and jewel not to be missed! Can't... More

We were lucky to get a table at the Cafe Routier for our very first visit on a Friday evening. Friends recommended that we try to get a seat in the bar area, but it was packed so we sat in the dining room. The menu looked great, but we had also heard that the fish tacos were awesome, so... More
