An extraordinary restaurant in all respects--the superior quality and selection of the healthiest and freshest farm to table foods, exquisitely and delicately prepared dishes and presentation, the ambiance, and their sensitivity, attention and care to meet special dietary needs including celiac are all deeply valued and appreciated. Cafe Routier is a rare find and jewel not to be missed! Can't... More

We were lucky to get a table at the Cafe Routier for our very first visit on a Friday evening. Friends recommended that we try to get a seat in the bar area, but it was packed so we sat in the dining room. The menu looked great, but we had also heard that the fish tacos were awesome, so... More

The food here is amazing!!!! So are the drinks and staff! Wow. If you haven't gone here, you definitely should! The steak is great, the drinks are to die for and the restaurant is intimate and just the perfect place for couples or families! I've been here for dinner but also a rehearsal dinner and the service was out of... More

Upscale perfect food served with pride. Three section menu (seasonal, regional and the original) is diverse French-Continental-New England and varied. The grilled trout is priceless. The steak and pomme frites delightful. I am getting hungry writing. Dining room takes reservations (busy on weekends and they'll call to confirm your table; bar and lounge has more buzz. Tim makes a delightful... More

We had requested a quiet table for seven. Wanted a place where we could talk with out yelling. I think we gor the best table in the place. Perfect for us. Staff was very attentive without being obtrusive. This was family time to catch up after two plus years. They didn't rush us at all. Scallops ordered by two were... More

Haf a 100$ gift card which they insisted didn't have any value. The manager was unwilling to research it and insisted that we pay with another form. Obviously the cafe employee that sold the gift card forgot to "load" it. Seemed lkke this might be a regular scam used by this restaurant. Absolutely no customer service. The food was ok.... More

I have been here twice. The first time I ordered the onion soup, which was not very good at all, which is not a good sign for a French restaurant. The second time I had a quesadilla special which was good, but quite soggy on the plate not nice a crispy like it should be. I feel there are quite... More

The restaurant was full so we ate in the bar for the first time. It was lovely, relaxing and quieter than the main dining room. I had mussels which were outstanding. My husband (the adventurer) had frog legs and skate. Both were fabulous. Our waitress seemed to be taking care of the whole room, but handled it much better than... More

We come here a lot, and I like how the menu is always changing. Great small plates and good wine, really good bread, and the brownie sundae is amazing :) Good
