This is simple straight forward New Haven pizza without many trappings or extras. Tomato, mozzarella starter was great. We should have had two. We kept the pies simple with one cheese and one sausage. Sausage was good but kept slide off pieces. Cheese was good. Crust was crispy but minor gripe is that it was crispy to point of interior... I grew up enjoying Zupp"s abets. I moved to Texas in 1971 where there is no real pizza, however, Zuppardi's is the first place that I go whenever I go home to visit. Their sausage and mushroom pizza is amazing. They are easily the best in the New Haven area, better than Pepe's or Sally's. Looking forward to my next... More

In my opinion this pizza is as good as or maybe even better than Frank Pepe pizza!!!! Why bother going to Pepe's and wait in long lines when this pizza is similar? The staff is always friendly and the place is always busy.

We've been getting pizza at Zuppardi's for years. I would rate this as one of the best in the New Haven area. The taste is out of this world. My grandsons especially like the fresh mushroom pizza. A great family run business.

This has been one of our favorite pizza joints for some time. Being from the New Haven area, there seems to be a pizza place on every other corner. Zuppardis is a cut above. Thin crust with the right amount of char. They have a great white pie with broccoli & garlic and the bacon pizza is awesome. Unfortunately, my... More

We always enjoy their pepperoni pie. Definitely, the best West Haven pizza. Not crazy about the service. It seems unless you are a known regular...you get simple service, very little smiles.

This was my first time eating at Zuppardi's pizza. I ordered the sausage spinach pizza - a small. I was surprised how big the small was, it is more like a medium. This price is a bargain compared to other places located in New Haven. Fountain and bottled drinks are available. The atmosphere is very casual. In fact, I expected... More
