To start off it is a small shack, VERY interesting inside. Yes most tables are outside, " in the partking lot", close. Its all paper and plastic. Parking is to say the least, tight. Why go there and give it a 4 ? The FOOD, some of the best seafood around. Great view of the water. The fish tastes like... More

Have been living in West Haven for 7 years and yet to have had Stowe's, finally tried it. NOT disappointed. Delicious seafood and the best thing is the prices are really reasonable. Usually fried clams (whole, not strip) are an arm and a leg more than other seafoods, but Stowe's keeps it consistent. I really appreciate it. One visit made... More

The best Lobster roll I have ever had. We were in town for the build of "The Sandy Ground: Where Angels Play" build. Charlotte Bacons playground. We were among an amazing group of people. Decided to have lunch at Stowe's seafood and we are glad we did. Great people, service and food.

Period. End of story. This is a dive with no beer and cash only. But awesome for the lobster rolls. It has almost no seats. Old fashioned sodas. Great stuffed clams and clam chowder. Just a cool place.

I read all the wonderful reviews and I went there leaving all other restaurant because I like trying new places and being only one of its kind, I really support them. I was geared up and excited to eat some seafood. So, with huge excitement and hunger i order lobster bisque and lobster roll. I get a ticket and I... More

The seafood was fresh and well cooked. The place is casual cool, with nets posters and great music. Well worth the experience

I've already reviewed this restaurant, so this is a re-review. After my initially impression (a hidden gem) I'm now less inclined to recommend. On subsequent visits, I found the lobster roll skimpy and lacking in flavor. And they really have to rework their coleslaw recipe. Soupy and bland. Also, had their fried fish. It was ok, but also un noteworthy.... More

The atmosphere was adorable. The food prices were cheap and the portions were large. But the food was just average. The lobster bisque was mostly flavorless. The fried scallops and clams were OK. the onion rings were OK. Overall, I would recommend it.
