Very good food, beautiful space but ONE improvement is necessary.

In West Haven CT there are few place to eat that are appealing. Georgie's is different: a true 1950's railroad diner car with pleasant wait staff and large varied menu. While i wanted to LOVE this place it is a bit over priced for what you receive AND the food prep person needs to start wearing... read more

Looking for a great breakfast spot close to I95? This is the ideal spot with all the charm of a local diner complete with shiny metal walls, spotless windows and tables, pleasant waitstaff and good food. The crackle of freshly cooking bacon, along with the mouthwatering smell, welcomed us to this little gem. It is obvious the owner takes pride... More

Ordered the soup and salad. Chicken soup had lots of chicken. Nice flavor. Loved the natural oyster crackers. You can watch items being made on the grill. Lots of bacon being sliced and grilled. Greek salad was very good and fresh. The regular salad was also very good and fresh. Pleasant waitress. Decaf was good.

This diner has lots of options including vegan and gluten free. It's a small location but friendly service and bright atmosphere. My food was good, but pretty plain. It's a little pricey for a diner, but they do have lots of options. The food is also very fresh, judging by the fruit salad I go. Worth a visit to check... More

A quaint little diner, serving all day from 7AM until 11PM. Large separate menu for Vegan and Gluten free. Not as much for dairy free, but with some substitution - which they were very helpful with, more than enough to choose from except dessert. More important, the food was very good - even the sandwich rolls, and the fries were... More

First of all I think that Georgies Diner is OVERPRICED! While the food wasn't all that bad, the service was horrible. The girl behind the register was too busy texting the whole time I was there. Also, there was this poor girl who was wiping down the back splash where the glasses are, she kept wiping and wiping...nobody even said... More

For a diner, this place is a little pricey, but is completely worth it. The quality of the ingredients is very good. This is also a place that I am able to go with my vegetarian and vegan friend that has a lot of offerings for them.

Nice, clean, good food, including organic and gluten free options. Service was great! Clean, bright bathroom too! If you're in the area and need a break, enjoy a meal. Coffee was good too!

This is a very unusual place, in a good way. It is a classic diner, and one of the few I have seen which still has a cook and griddle behind the counter. The menu has all of your traditional diner food, great breakfast selection, but also sandwiches, dinner entrees, wraps, salads, etc. I knew I had found my spot... More

It's a nice casual place, however, I must admit I don't understand why they are so high priced. $11.00 for 2 pumpkin pancakes? It should not be higher priced than IHop...I would have been ok with it if they were the best I ever had. THE omlette also a bit overpriced. Our server was a sweetheart and was terrific.I would reccomend... More
