First of all, I called for a reservation and spoke to a man, repeated me name, day, and time multiple times after he kept getting it wrong and when I showed up I was told by a different male that I had no reservation and would not get sat. There was a younger american girl who was kind enough to... More

I was here a few times for lunch and thought the place should be busier than it was. I generally order the sashimi or the sushi sashimi combo. The fish is always super fresh and very tasty. And the portions are huge compared to other places. I could eat here every day.

We chose this restaurant based on past experiences of eating Hibachi at many locations around the world including Japan. We were shown to a table where another family was waiting for more customers. Our cook arrived and felt the need to entertain in a very loud manner. When the other tables filled with partygoers, their cooks were equally loud. Our... More

The hibachi part (they cook in front of you) is all right if you don't know Japanese food. The regular menu, sushi is fresh enough but tenpura- came w/ panko which should be katsu. They don't serve Miso soup either.

This restaurant ought to be closed down and steam cleaned-not only is it horribly loud, the service is awful. The food was at best mediocre--guess you need a clown with sharp knives to keep you entertained and just ignore that the food isn't quite as fresh. The overall appearance of the place was slightly dirty to gross and the smell... More

We had reservations (Hibachi Table) for a party of 14 at 8 pm. Only 2 out of 14 people ran late (@35 minutes) and they wouldn't seat the other 12 of us (who all arived between 7:50-8:05) until almost 8:30. We asked about 5 times to be seated and explained it was a birthday outting and we wanted to have... More

Friends took me to Ichiro for my birthday in March. The place was packed. You definetely need a reservation for a weekend hibachi seating. There were four of us and other group of four around the hibachi. The cook did a great job keeping us entertained and providing a lot of saki. The price was very reasonable considering that we... Went there last Thursday night with some friends and had a great time, mostly. Food was great but we did hibachi and it took like 30 minutes to get a chef to our table. We got one drink order in but that was it, the drink waitress never returned. Food was really yummy, so that was good, and the atmosphere... More

Hibachi is all about the show. This was good food, but at a high price, the show was great though. The chef was fun and entertaining. The sushi was fair, the service was okay.

I've been here about a dozen times and have never had anything but great food. The hibachi is excellent. I do think it is expensive for what you get. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about. If it takes you over an hour to get something you want anywhere, you probably need to practice being a little more... More
