After having been to Tinkers years ago at its former locations, we decided we would give the restaurant a try. We are glad we did. The fish and chips were delicious. Fresh and very plentiful! We love Tinker's, the food is excellent, the staff is always friendly and very accomadating, if you want tablecloths and silverware then go elsewhere and spend twice as much and the food won't beat Tinker's. The fish market is clean and the staff is just as nice as on the restaurant side. You won't be disappointed! Kathy Colello more

The place is not intended to be a 4-star restaurant -- it's atmosphere is much like the seafood place you might find nestled in a corner of the beach. I took my parents out to have a lobster dinner at Tinkers: the cashier overcharged us; the lobsters were very small; the tables were dirty; the baked potatoes were so overcooked that they were inedible; we had to ask three times for butter and lemon. We will never go back to this resturant. more

My parents and i went there tonight 10/22/05 my folkes ordered broiled Scrod and they said it was very watery And i had the Shrimp Scampi over pasta that was ok To bad they dont use real forks and knifes. Cause i could nt eat any thing so i had to bring it home .We will never go back there... more
