My girlfriends and I just enjoyed a delicious meal at the Pond House. And it was so much more relaxing than going into West Hartford center. We had 3 different salads and liked them all but the Brussels sprouts Caesar was the best. The scallops were amazing and the salmon delicious. Great use of technology in presenting the menu and... I don't know why, but this place reminds me so much of Alice in Wonderland for some reason, regarding everything from the decor, the tableware, the place settings, even the Pond House logo is reminiscent of the quick of Alice. Came here for a late Friday night dinner with my beau, we had reservations, were seated promptly. Wait staff was... More

I am currently writing about my third visit here for a wedding. The room looks very nice and it's decorated well and the staff does try hard however management is very disorganized cause more issues than the staff is able to fix.

I had lunch here recently with a friend. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the season and we were seated promptly in a booth as requested. We had reservations. The food was good. However, I did not learn until the meal was almost over that my guest's salad had not been dressed. I asked her if she wanted me to... More

This casual restaurant in a park on a pond has inventive food, which was well executed. The surroundings are serene, and it is also a party venue. The absolute best thing I had here was the little biscotti that came with the coffee. The nachos were so flavorful, with many layers of spices--not hot and spicy--really mellow, but well-rounded. My... More

This was a great find for us! We loved their menu which made us feel like they were great home cooked meals! The restaurant as well was very cozy and quaint feeling. There is something for everyone here. Their brunch is amazing and I would definitely recommend their soups, we loved ALL of them!

Went to pond house cafe on recommendation of a friend for a travelers birthday Sunday brunch. The setting is lovely, in a large park and (...surprise) on a pond. Service was great. Environment is casual and really inviting. Brunch menu was classic but with some good change ups. Dishes were $8-$12. Everything was delicious. Great brunch.

I've been here for wedding receptions and brunch and they never dissapoint. The service, price, quality and taste of the food can't be beat. There are many options on the brunch menu and the portions are just enough to fill you up, yet leave you wanting more. I would recommend making reservations for brunch. It tends to fill up quickly.

The Pond House Cafe offers the dual pleasures of good food in an engaging location. The menu is varied and the food was nicely presented and arrived from the kitchen within a reasonable amount of time. The youngish wait staff is professional and efficient. Parking is easy and plentiful -- a big improvement from the "old days" at the Park.... More
