Yummy flavors, great service - all around thumbs up!

First time to the restaurant, we went on a recommendation of a friend. Staff super friendly, so many food choices and we loved the experience. It brought me back to a trip I took to Peru - especially the Inca Cola and the Cusquena beer. We has two huge dishes for 3 people and also loved the... read more

We decided to eat here one day due to a few recommendations and I have to say I was pretty dissapointed. We had the ceviche which was ok, we ordered a beef dish and a chicken dish sorry but I can't recollect the names of the dishes. We also asked for bread and we received a kaiser roll cut in... More

I've been a resident of a new development in West Hartford for 8 years. My neighbors are an eclectic bunch, from distinguish locals to newcomers from far places like me. A group of 10 of us went to Cora Cora for dinner a few days ago. As the only Latin American in the group, I felt responsible for guiding my... More

My husband and I dined at Cora Cora during a brief visit to Connecticut. After researching local restaurants in West Hartford on Trip Advisor, we immediately chose Cora Cora because of the positive reviews and our live of Peruvian cuisine. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in the middle of a strip mall. We ordered the Mixed Ceviche for an appetizer.... More

I purchased a $100 gift card to Cora Cora and gave it to our daughter. After having dinner and presenting the card, she was told that the card had no value and the restaurant made her pay the entire amount. They made no effort to check with me (I have a credit card receipt), and did not offer even a... More

Stopped in town for business and saw the raving reviews, so I chose to visit. Everyone was right, it was absolutely delicious! I ordered a plantas de quinoa, ohhhhh I couldn't stop eating it. It was so flavorful. I also got a side of fried yuccas, because those are my favorite, it was fried perfectly and was such a large... More

You know it's a good sign when you walk in and the tables are full of multi-generational Peruvian families. Despite it being in an old McDonalds the food is fresh, varied, healthy and we assume traditional. Our waitress was super friendly and helped us navigate the menu for both kids and adults. The Sangria was excellent! I highly recommend it... More

Love Cora Cora from the moment we walk in the door every time. Staff is super friendly. My 8-year old son is always thrilled to go there for the salchipapas (basically a hot dog and fries), my daughter loves her Bisteca and my wife and I always share the Ceviche Mixto, which is quite adequate for 2 people. We always... More

Hidden gem in a section of West Hartford, would never have guessed to find such a great ethnic restaurant in this part of town! Service was excellent, Muna was such a sweetheart and had great suggestions. The menu might be a little overwhelming if you have never had Peruvian food before but definitely worth going outside of your comfort zone!... More

We read the various accolades for this restaurant and decided to try it for a birthday dinner. We began with Pisco Sours, which were very good ($9.00 each) and we given Peruvian dried corn with a dip. The dip was OK, fairly non-descript. We ordered a salad with quinoa. Unfortunately, it never arrived. My husband order trout with one of... More
