Big portions, creative ingredients

Had a very nice meal with friends on a Monday night. The place was really busy, but we were attended to promptly. The Waitress was especially patient in explaining details of the kids menu to the 9 year old in our party. My friend and I decided to order 2 burgers and split them. Gave us more... read more

Good lunch. Accommodated grandchildren with special requests. Food good. Service good. Burgers very good. Ambiance average, good drink selections.

Overall the food is good, burgers are cooked very good, using quality meat. Salads are pretty skimpy but w/ the meat they are good. drink prices are pricey but standard for WeHa center. Burgers come out with a lot of salt so better ask light on the seasoning or none at all. Business lunch spot is good and the servers... More

Went to Max Burger on Monday June 15th. It was a bit crowded for a Monday but only because 2 local high schools graduated that night. Booth seating for our family of 5 (3 young kids and parents) was a little tight but made even more so by the lack of A/C. Service was good while server friendliness was on... More

Great surprise in Hartford CT, a chicky burger place that does everything else as good as the burgers. Great salad options, and chicken as well, great cheeses and some interesting toppings. Nice atmosphere, quiet enough for business meetings, great service. One thing is for sure - the taste is different when you eat grass fed fields raised with no antibiotics... More

Stopped in with some friends for a drink and some burgers. All the food was really good. The burgers at Max downtown are better... They are little more high class burgers, and slightly more expensive - but max downtown wins in the burger wars... Max burger would be a good place to take the family. The server was nice. When... We are looking for a new place to live and hung out in West Hartford for the weekend. Much to our surprise festivals, art, music and Max Burger with the horse race for dinner. Cool place and a seat at the bar, doesn't get better. Burgers were yummy, great, friendly service. we will be back!

Great service, reasonable prices, age-friendly! A party of six talkative friends over 40 enjoyed a 2 hour lunch in a comfy atmosphere. The waitress was patient and helpful, not in the least bit annoyed at our questions about the menu. A plus! Oh yes, the food was dee-licious!

When I must have a burger (usually once or twice a year) I head over to Max's Burger on La Salle Road in West Hartford. There's much more on the menu besides burgers, but, they do have some of the best burgers around. Large, juicy, interesting toppings, and either regular or sweet potato fries. My personal favorite is the Blackjack... More

We sat outside but very busy bar inside - have good happy hour but you have to sit inside. Burgers are main attraction - mine was stuffed with onions - very good and my brother had the burger with grilled cheese as bun - he liked it. Best app is spinach w/feta - fab! Tuna chopped with chips was horrible... More
