the atmosphere is cozy, a bit dark but that isn't a bad thing. Food options are good. Wine list is ok Convenience of being in the hotel was excellent just need to dial up the freshness and quality and it would be a place to go to eventhough it's in a hotel.

My husband and I both had grouper stuffed with lobster and coconut rice. The best ever. There was lobster and corn bisque. It was so rich I was full on soup itself. To die for. No room for dessert.

Food is good, service is slow, prices are high, and the menu only has about 5 entrees. Sunday brunch is outstanding and highly recommended!

On a very cold Friday evening, we and some good friends decided to go somewhere nearby that we hadn't been for dinner, and Evergreens seemed promising. The hotel lobby and the restaurant looked beautiful decked out in seasonal finery. The greeting at the door and by our waiter were most cordial. The dining room was sparsely populated, but that could... More

We dropped in for a bite after skating at Great Pond State Park. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The turkey pot pie was great. The ambiance is comfortable. We'll be back.

The food was exceptional and plentiful with a party of over 100 people. We were one of three parties being held the same night. The catering staff did an excellent job with both food quality, quantity and service.

To celebrate my birthday, my husband and I returned to one of our favorite restaurants, Evergreens at the Simsbury Inn. Once again we had a suburb meal and the service was excellent! The menu always makes it hard to choose. I had the Bibb salad and the special entree: filet mignon and stuffed shrimp. My husband had the Caesar salad... More

I thought the restaurant might be a bit pompous, but not at all. We both had monkfish risotto, followed by Tandoori chicken, which were really great. Another evening in Twigs bar (same chef) food was just as good, with a fantastic bread & butter pudding to finish. Highly recommended.

All that needs to be said is, an excellent menu superbly prepared and professionally served in a beautiful New England setting. It doesn't get much better than this.

The food was good but the service was horrible. It took us about 2 and a half hours to eat dinner...not sure if it was due to the fact that we had buy one/get one coupons or not but will definitely not eat here again.
