The restaurant is reminiscent of an old school NYC saloon. The food was delicious and the service was friendly & timely. The champagne-tinis and the crab cakes are awesome!!

My daughter and I had a lovely meal here. Our server was fantastic and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is quiet which allows for great conversation. It connects to the courtyard Marriot which is convenient. We highly recommend it but it is a bit expensive.

Great restaurant in Waterbury! The decor is very cool with old school style and a great ambiance. There's a really positive vibe in the restaurant; upbeat, buzzing, but not over the top noisy either. Our waitress, Laurie, was fantastic. She was funny, honest, and attentive to all of our needs. As were seeing a show at the Palace later that... More

Our waitress was very good. Drinks came quickly and never ran out, the specials were explained well and I could have tried any of them. The atmosphere with the booths was special, buzzing, but not too noisy. The food was a little disappointing. Everything else about the restaurant shouts fine dinning but the food was only average. Don't get me... More

We have been going to Dorios for many years, you always know that the food will be great and the atmosphere, warm, darkish and good for a romantic dinner. Its not a wildly creative menu but we have never had a bad meal there, portions are generous, well sourced and prepared. The noise from the bar can be a bit... More

My wife and I went to Diorios tonight for dinner. After reading the reviews, we expected it to be expensive. Typically not a problem if we felt the dinner and service is worth the price. Overall a good meal. The dinner finished with the server asking us if we wanted dessert. I wasn't sure if I wanted any more food... More

Dorio's has a great ambience and the friendly staff make the experience wonderful .we had the specials : sea bass and scallops. Both were great. We ordered the truffle french fries but were not too satisfied with them. Everything else was terrific. The entertainment was a middle school music teacher who moonlights on the side. He performed non stop and... More

Was here on business. Had a fantastic steak, cooked correctly. Sides also very good. Good service, atmosphere was nice. All around good experience. Not really pricey considering the quality of the steak.

Stopped in with my son on the way home from a college pickup. We split a calamari app which had a spicy Japanese sauce they said they make on site. It was very good. My son had a penne al vodka and I had Gemelli pasta and spicy sausage. Both of our dishes were superb. The prices are not inexpensive,... More
