I've been here about 7-8 times in the past 2-3 years. I always raved about how good it was. Recently, for the first time, it was not a good experience. It took 10 minutes to have the waiter take my drink order; 15 minutes to receive my drink; the food was lukewarm at best; and it took another 10 min... More

Amazing. This is an old world Italian restaurant. The best of the best, if you want amazing food and good drinks this is your place. The atmosphere, service, food and drinks are spot on!!!! We have never had a bad meal and have visited over a dozen times. Diorio's beats any restaurant we have been to in Connecticut.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. We enjoy it before a show at the plaza. Banana pie is awesome.

Nice place, and good food. It's a elegant old Italian restaurant. Wooden tables and chairs. It doesn't have a parking lot though.

I have not been to this restaurant since about 1998 and my husband decided for our anniversary to have dinner there. The parking was convenient as there is street parking and a parking garage across the street. Our reservations were for 6:15 and we arrived on time. We were taken to our table immediately and within minutes a person was... More

Went to Diorio before a show at the Palace Theater. The food and service were outstanding. Might have been the best chicken parm I've ever had. Thick pieces of chicken and very moist. Service by our Jersey girl was wonderful. Great personality. Highly recommended.

Not really into pasta, sauces and Italian food, but it was a rainy day and this restaurant is attached to the Courtyard Marriott where I was staying so I decided to try it. Glad I did. Laurie, our server, was excellent at providing suggestions about things on the menu that I might like and she was spot on. Finally decided... More

The atmosphere, the service, the food and those amazing desserts and there is often a very good pianist who plays on Saturdays. Go, enjoy... I've never been disappointed.
