Outstanding

The meal was excellent, staff excellent, atmosphere very good. Had a great time, gave a very good rating since it was quite expensive. Doubtful that I will find a better meal, but based upon the costs this will be a treat (infrequent visits). If the total bill was 30% lower, this would be an ideal... read more

Closed due to money issues. The Woodbury Carmen Anthony's is the only one left. All others are closed! Waterbury and new haven! Even with there outrageous prices they managed to fail!

Nothing special about the food. I could get a better meal for half the price elsewhere. $30, $40, $50 dollars for a steak. Really!!! You can get just as good if not better steak at Texas Roadhouse

We recently went to Carmen Anthony's for dinner. We ordered one Porterhouse steak dinner and one stuffed shrimp dinner. The stuffed shrimp was delicious, although the garlic mashed potatoes that came with it were so full of garlic that they were inedible. The $44.95 steak dinner was horrible. It was salty, tough and sinewy. It was almost impossible to cut,... More

I was treated to a dinner here on my birthday and everything was sssoooo overpriced & ala carte, that I coulndn't even enjoy my meal, knowing how overpriced the food was. Every part of the meal was charged separately, potato, veg, etc... Could you enjoy a $10 baked potato? Disgusting fees. I'll never go back.

I stopped in tonight for the first time in a couple of years. I was greeted by the same bartender - that says something. Craig is friendly and enjoys getting to know his customers. The service was great. The restaurant has a great Happy Hour with martini specials and some $6 appetizers. I had the pomegranate martini (well actually 2)... More

I was more than let down with this dining experience. For a steakhouse with prices all exceeding $30 with out salads or sides, you would think their steaks would be divine. All of our steaks were chewy, stringy, cooked not quite right and just disappointing. My caeser salad was dripping with dressing and the asparagus was stringy and just warm.... More

We had a business dinner at CA right before an all night film shoot. We were rushing the staff and the kitchen. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. She moved our order through quickly. Everything was well prepared and very good. We had steaks (filets) , fish, and several sides. One pasta. All were first rate. Desserts looked excellent... More
