Good, sizable portions for the price; wine was nicely portioned. Very pretty inside. Had the bolognese which was delicious. Great for a romantic dinner for two.

Made a reservation during a weekday for dinner. We arrived and were greeted by owner and quickly seated. Our table was in the same area as bar which as night went on got increasingly louder. Waitress was quick to arrive, had helpers that constantly walked by to check on bread basket, take dirty plates and see if you needed anything... More

We dined outside on a lovely night. This is our second summer night visit on the patio which is pleasant, but could do without noisy motorcycles! The first visit the owner's daughter waited on us and did a fantastic job. She was a big plus to this establishment. Second visit she left for school and service was not the same....ok... More

Have been coming here for a very long time. Things have definitely changed since I first started coming here but the food is still great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants Italian food with lots of left overs!

Food is pretty good and would be ok on less busy nites but usually the bar is full and too noisy to hear your dinner partners... I'd spend a few? $ more and go to La Tavola just 100 yards away

The small restourant in the heart of Italian Waterbury is a great choice for anyone. Lunch, Dinner, Drinks it doesn't matter. The service is fantastic, along with food that beats out any italian restourant in the area. The large meatball appetizer is out of this world, highly reccomend that, along with the veal Michael Anthony! We will be back very... More

We've been to D'Amelios numerous times for both lunch and dinner and have found the quality of the food and service to be consistently great. Highly recommended for authentic home-style Italian.

Table of 6 is practically in the street. Noisy. No table of any size should be there Food cold and bland My pork chops were over cooked and Luke warm All of the meals were barely warm and tasteless The service was good about the only nice thing I can say. Calamari appetizer was swimming in what must have been... More
