A quaint little place on Brook St. I've been going there since the early 90's Pepe's doesn't even come close to their pizza. Family owned and operated.

This is a family owned & operated place. Yes it's small yes it's not it in the best area but when Pia hands you a slice of cheese pizza your not just getting a slice of pizza. Your scratching the surface of decades of tradition. Traditions which by the way are delicious! It's old school pizza- thin crust, homemade sauce... More

Wow what an excellent experience. The pizza was fresh reasonably priced and delicious. I was instructed to visit this place the minute we landed. Well I understand why I was so in love with the pizza that we went here a bunch of times. Basic cheese pizza OMG yes yes yes. I can taste it as I write this review

this place is a joke!!!!! If want real pizza go somewhere else. This place barely scratches the surface of actually being pizza. It's very similar to a papa johns or a dominos with crispier crust. Not worth braving the ghetto that it's in or dodging the garbage truck that almost hits you in the tiny parking lot behind the ramshackle... More

I have been eating this pizza since I was a kid. Used to be in an even smaller place on East Main in the Brown bldg. No frills but when ever I go into Waterbury, I have to stop and get a slice. Just plain cheese pizza is the way to go. Crust is crisp and chewy. Nice tomato base... More

There was a cute story about the elderly couple who runs this place on the Feast on the local news NBC affiliate and they raved about the pizza. So we took the 30 min drive to downtown Waterbury to give it a try. The place is small and truly no frills. The menu is on a signboard, so we grabbed... More

The best pizza in Waterbury? We were in the mood for a great pizza having fared dismally on our travels to date. This sounded so tempting that we couldn't resist despite the fact that we couldn't have a glass of wine with our pizza. Well, to begin with, the sauce was quite frankly awful and lathered on much too thick.... More

I've had NY pizza, I lived in New Haven and had it all but there's something about Domenic & Pia's that can't be matched! It's a hole in the wall and YOU WILL WAIT (especially if Pia is working) but it'll be worth it. I have been going there since I was little so probably close to 40 years. I... More

I've been going to Domenick & Pia for over 30 years and it's hands down the best pizza in Waterbury. I have family that visits from NJ and when they call to plan the visit a lunch at Domenick & Pia is always part of the trip. The sauce can't be beat, it's amazing!!!
