I had dinner at Lisboa on 11/16/13 with my wife, father and brother. We had a great time. The food, paella for 3 of us and roast suckling pig were absolutely delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Never expected to find excellent pizza in Prospect, CT. No wonder the place is bustling. My favorite is Margherita - the fresh tomato and basil and this one was the best I have had anywhere. My wife had a wrap that was too large to finish and filled with meat and veggies. We'll be back!

What a terrific meal we had last night, in this hidden treasure in an industrial area of Waterbury, Connecticut, not far from Route 8. Put the address in your GPS and DON'T be put off by the location, or the look of this place from the outside. Once inside, you'll be treated by extremely competent and friendly service and terrific... More

Went on a recommendation of a friend and it was a real disappointment. Service wasn't good, had to ask for everything and we felt ignored. There was really nothing on the menu for me to order, so I had a dinner salad and went home for dinner after leaving there. My husbands dinner was a stew-y sort of thing that... More

My wife, daughters and I were looking forward to a new dining experience based on rave reviews from two sets of friends. I’m sorry to say we were somewhat disappointed. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy and the service was good, but other than the appetizer the food was mediocre. We all started with the grilled quail – it was... More

Excellent food and service, truly like home... Don't go expecting a quick meal but expect quality and that can't be rushed ... Enjoy

We were looking for a place to meet between Goshen and Meriden and found this hidden gem! Quaint atmosphere. The building is unremarkable but they made up for that with great service, smiling staff and delicious meals! Meals cook to order and was able to accommodate my Gluten-Free diet. None of us had a history of Portugese Food and we... More

Lisboa is between RR tracks and fuel tanks with a typical "local tavern" look. If one was driving past watching for an upscale eating place, most would not stop. My wife and I are glad about this, as it would be a shame to go there and find it over-crowded. Once you enter the restaurant with it's crisp white table... More

Rediscovered Lisboa, used to be a favorite when more local, now a place we will travel to. Off the beaten path but well worth the search - Enjoy

Thank Trip Advisor for this one. Seems like Waterbury is the perfect place to stop for a break on road trips between NYC and Boston but prior to this we usually ended up at chain restaurants. I checked with TA first and this looked good and we'd just come back from Lisboa a few months ago so we figured we'd... More
