One of the best meals I have eaten in my life! I will be back with my daughter and husband. Good service, excellent food, and good location. Where I live there isn't great Turkish food, but now I know where to go. Only problem is, if there is a dinner party it can be noisy. The Haydori was my favorite... More

Where can i start? The Food was fanomanal! First off, we started will fresh, straight out of the oven bread. I'm never usually a huge fan of bread, but it was amazing! Next, our meal came, and service was friendly and fast! I got the chicken shish, and it was cooked to perfection! For dessert, I got the kazandabi, which... More

That's all I heard from across the table, as well as from my own lips. Luckily it was before the Friday night dinner rush and not many people were around to disturb. All our "experiments" with their varied Turkish menu were successful! Among them: red lentil soup, zucchini pancakes, white bean salad, Imam Bayildi (baked eggplant dish) and chicken skewers.... Don't be fooled by the rather non-descript building in a side road off I-84. Inside we found very pleasant and knowledgeable servers, and a wide selection of Turkish/Mediterranean foods. We shared the cold dip appetizer which was served with a basket of hot bread. Two of us split the Sultans Mixed Grill that was loaded with well-seasoned tender meats, rice,... More

We stop by here when we are travelling westbound on I-84. It's just off exit 25. Our waiter remembered us although we had only been there once before, 6 weeks previously! Great service, and the food is delicious. And we were pleasantly surprised when a belly dancer appeared at 7:30 on a Saturday night! A fun and delicious break on... More

If only this restaurant was closer to my house! The lentil soup is out of this world and all other dishes always fresh and delicious. We normally do take-out but on occasion sit down for a meal and the service is always top notch, either way. I almost forgot, the pide is out-of-the-oven fresh and scrumptious!

Well spiced, large portions, reasonably priced with friendly service, quick kitchen, close to 84, and plain but pleasant town decor.

While traveling from cape cod to pennsylvania we stopped here for lunch. The venue is clean and comfortable, our waiter, cngis, was pleasant and efficent. The food arrived quickly was very tasty and will prepared. My wife had the chicken wrap and delicous Turkish tea. My friend and I had baba ganoush, lentil soup and grape leaves. All delicious. We found this restaurant by using TripAdvisor and I'm glad we did. We had the cold appetizer sampler platter that had plentiful tastings of six of most popular appetizers. They kept the pita bread coming because we didn't want to miss a bite. I had the Imam Bayildi which is stuffed eggplant and my partner had chicken shish kabob. Both... More

Turkish food is one of my favorite cuisines. When I spotted this restaurant near the place I was staying in Waterbury, I knew I had to try it. What can I say? It is fantastic. The food is flavorful, fresh, and with just enough zip. I ordered lentil soup and a small cold appetizer platter. The soup is a full... More
