It has been three years since my last review of Laskara's. I live in Wallingford, and grew up in neighboring Cheshire. I'm 62, and I can state with complete certainty that if there are six restaurants in Wallingford that are better than this one, I have yet to find any of them. A nice, varied menu with lamb, fish, veal,... More

Four of us went out to dinner for a birthday and it is a favorite place of the birthday girl. The salad here is always good. The swordfish special was quite delicious. the dessert menu was sparser than before, but we all found something!

The food here isn't the best, but it's good. This past experience wasn't that great service and food wise, but I guess they may have been down staff. We wouldn't probably go back here a lot just because we haven't had the greatest experiences with it.

Recently visited on a Saturday evening and it was very busy. We did not have reservations , however we were seated after only a few minute wait. There was a nice selection on the menu and service was prompt and friendly. We received a nice table salad for two. Entrees were very tasty and fair size portion. Menu prices were... More

We have been to Laskara's several times, the most recent with some friends. The service is always prompt and friendly. The menu has a nice wide variety of appetizers and entrees, so everyone is sure to find something that they like. Portion size is generous, some of the people in our party couldn't finish their meals. Great value for the... More

I have been here a few times. Each time the food and service is amazing. I have not tried something I did not like. The Greek food is the best around.

We had not eaten at Laskara's in well over a year. That was only because our friend, who used to live near it, moved. We live in another part of the state. We always liked the food there and never felt that it needed improvement but it improved! The bread was warmer. The shrimp dish was in less of a cheesy... More

Three of us ate dinner here recently. We shared our recent experiences with our recent wonderful trip to Greece. So why not Laskara, whose menu is reminiscent of the fine meals we had in Greece? We had rack of lamb, which was among the best we've had- tender, lean, nicely grilled chops. Our friend enjoyed his Shrimp Santorini as well.... More

I just made my first visit to Laskara's. Both the regular menu and Early Bird menu gave many tempting choices. The Early Bird Special gave me an appetizer, salad, entree, dessert, and coffee for $17.00. I tried moussaka for the first time. It was delicious, and was a more than ample serving. Every time we needed something, our server was... More

We visited Laskara's this past Friday evening for dinner. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, but not that hard to find. Atmosphere is somewhat dark and romantic and quiet. We were greeted by John and Jenny like old friends, which we more or less were, having known the owners for many years! Note: The same man also... More
