Pretty show dinner

Decided to try Ballo before our concert. First impressions were great. Beautiful decor. Personable and knowledgable waitstaff. Unfortunately we waited too long for a round of drinks while our pizza got cold. Maybe try again during the week when it's not so busy.

Ballo offers a great ambience and a nice escape from the chaos of the casino. Amazing Fried Calamari, Caesar Salad (My wife claims the best she's ever had), and Eggplant Parmigiana, and Calamari. Overall, a great meal. The service, though, was ridiculously attentive without being even slightly overbearing.

this is always our restaurant of choice at Mohegan Sun. I've never had a bad meal here. Their pizza is great, pasta dishes are excellent, and the steaks and seafood are also good. The Brussels sprouts are to die for. Service is always excellent too. Their prices are the most reasonable of all the nice restaurants at Mohegan.

Ballo is a great escape from the casino. When you walk through the door you forget about the hustle & bustle of the casino area. It has a really nice atmosphere and feel to it. We've eaten here a few times and the food is terrific....never disappoints! The wait staff is very nice but still professional. In the front side... More

In their defence it was a very busy Fathers day. Food was good but the service was horrible. It seemed like they had plenty of staff, but we ended up waiting 23 minutes for a round of drinks while our meal got cold. We may go back sometime.....but it will be on a weeknight when the waitstaff can handle a... More

Had tried Ballo's when they first opened a few years back and was not too impressed.Wife and I have tried all dinning experiences at Mohegan and find most of them quite enjoyable.I would have to move Ballo's right up top with Jordans as a quality meal.Service was spot on and quite knowledgeable and attentive.Menu is quite eclectic covering an array... Flatbeads are great and the after show menu is fantastic, something for anyone. Liked the Pomodoro spaghetti snack!

We had dinner before a show at Ballo. The food was amazing. The shrimp scampi and scallops were delicious! It was a little pricey, about $100 pp, but that included a drink, a bottle of wine, a salad, dinner and dessert. Everything was top notch!
