Good food great service at the bar

This is a must try if you are going on date night to Mohegan Sun or want a snack and drinks. Try the brussel sprouts as a side or a pizza for snacking. The cheese and meat plates make a great snack while sipping on wine or cocktails. Late night Ballo is a night club with music and dancing.

First we visited Ballo for our anniversary in last November. The food was delicious and the staff was great from greetings to serving. They even made our 5 year old daughter happy which was a big deal for us! We went there again with another family for a late lunch and everything was so good again. So it is not... More

I am normally not that enthused when it comes to eating in restaurants located inside a casino, until now! My girlfriend who has eaten here before suggested the "secret" cheese plate that is not on the menu. They come to your table and light on fire a huge block of Parmesan cheese that melts into some OMG cheesy goodness and... More

We were a group of about 15 women celebrating my sister's big 5-0!! The waitstaff were very attentive. We were forced to do the Price Fixe menu due to the size of our group. The salad was bland, the macaroni and cheese was delicious but too rich to eat more than a few bites. The steak I had was amazing!!!... More

I have been to Ballo many times - but when I brought some new friends there last night it was somewhat disappointing. First off, they messed up our order - and we received the wrong pizza, which the server graciously granted us for "no charge" due to the error. Secondly, the portions seemed to have gotten smaller and perhaps it... More

I came for dinner at Ballo with my boyfriend and best friends for my 28th birthday last year and no one was disappointed. I loved everything about it, especially the truffle cheese wheel pasta made table side that we started with. I ordered the scallops for my main course and was blown away, a year later my boyfriend is still... More

This was our first time at Ballo. It most certainly will not be the last. For those that have reviewed, complaining about the prices. All I can say is you get what you pay for. One bite and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. There was four of us eating and with two appetizers for the table, four... More

The interiors are really nice which is expected in a casino atmosphere. The staff was so-so. I had to call over to the front of house manager about an issue with my cocktail since my waiter disappeared for quite some time after taking our order. Part of my meal included an arugula salad. It was served in a bowl and... More

Our dinner last year at Tuscany was not great so we changed to Ballo this year. Understanding that dining out on New Years Eve is a risk, we didn't have high expectations, just a decent meal. Ballo hit it out of the park. We were a party of 11, so we got a private dining room. Our wait staff was... More

There are better options for good Italian food. Ballo's is overpriced and the food is just ok. Nothing to write home about. Drinks are also on the pricey side. Paying extra for dining inside the casino. Flat bread pizza is your best bet for cheaper eats. Had a chicken dish that didn't look appetizing. Presentation was poor.
